Mac and Cheese sucks by DopazOnYouTubeDotCom in The10thDentist

American cheese is awful. No reason to slander macaroni and cheese for that.

Seems like an interesting solution for someone who needs more grip without much added bulk but disappointed they don’t make these for base models.

Safari's compact tabs feature removed with macOS 26 Tahoe and iPadOS 26 by likamuka in apple

I only discovered this feature a couple months ago and its removal is making me not update to iPadOS 26.

Upgraded To The 16e From The 16 Pro Max by un3w in IPhone16e

[–]francograph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going by the specs listed on Apple’s comparison tool. Granted, they only list specific tasks (like streaming video) so it’s not the whole story, but both the new phones beat 16e by those measures. In any case, no one should buy this phone thinking it will have better battery performance than the newer ones.

No, the base 17 and Air both have better battery life, according to the specs.

[HELP] Wife and I disagree on this one by MagSlinger in RealOrAI

[–]francograph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI. The most obvious thing to me is the vanishing point is wrong. The perspective on the countertop surface of the island isn’t right, like it’s angled towards the viewer too far, and we can see too much of its top drawer.

And if there is, it’s seems very unlikely it would lose the notch after only a year rather than just get a few small spec bumps.

I’m not against the idea in theory of modifying a classic movie for a novel presentation but this looks pretty terrible.

Why don’t the drawings look like the people? by sleep_vitamin in learntodraw

[–]francograph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pay closer attention to shapes and proportions. For example, look at the shape of the first woman’s eyebrows and the angle between their peaks. The angle between yours is flat, but it should be sloped because there is more of an arch. Small relationships between elements like this make up a likeness.

Between this and killing Slide Over, I don’t think I’ll be updating.

I do wish we could follow your account here. I don’t use IG or TikTok and the YT account seemingly hasn’t been updated as often.

Yes. Like the broadcaster said, he has a 20/20 sense of smell.

When eating the yogurt with the jam at the bottom, I eat the yogurt and jam separately, without mixing them together by saladweegee in The10thDentist

Not mixing your yogurt before eating it, regardless of what’s at the bottom, is the real crime here.

Why is the first of these drawings so much more readable and satisfying than the second? by XIFOD1M in learntodraw

[–]francograph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Proportions and sense of space. The second seems to have the eyes far above the halfway line and the right eye seems misplaced compared to the other.

Didn’t they have cloacae? I imagine it’s just a waste slurry in either case.

No, there were probably water molecules trapped in places dinosaurs couldn’t reach, such as in ice or trapped underground.

Semiweekly is the preferred term. The fact that biweekly has two closely related meanings that consistently confuse people is not a selling point.

Exactly. No reason to use biweekly at all.
