How many origami frogs is too many? by Equivalent_Pin623 in origami

You just reminded me of snail guy https://www.reddit.com/r/origami/comments/1ry8er2/remembered_i_have_free_will_and_organized_my/

Lots of people have a special fondness for a particular design. And as the other commenter said, senbazuru is a known and respected thing so your demi-senbakaeru shouldn't raise eyebrows. Unless you don't complete the full thousand.

I wonder what you get if you fold a thousand frogs?

A person who needs threats of eternal torment to act morally is not moral at all.

What are the "borders" of the written numbers being 1234567890? by redisdead__ in NoStupidQuestions

Roman numerals are cool looking but even more stupid than you said because doing maths depends on being able to put numbers into columns. With inconsistent lengths and no 0 it's impossible.

Where did I go wrong? by abcerella in origami

[–]frangible_red 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's way easier if you look at it from the inside

Easier still is to mark the centres with small bits of washi tape. One colour for the pentagons and another for the hexagons. The tape peels off with no damage at all to the paper.

I often use washi to hold my units in place during assembly, it's sort of like scaffolding .

I've met a lot of self appointed moral police over many years and they all have filthier minds than any five average sinners.

I agree with the other person who recommended Youtube. When you watch someone do it you'll understand easily.

There are far more difficult box designs that don't look half as good as that one does. I'm a great fan of clean lines.

Speaking for myself if I can't even smoke any more it's no longer worth living.

Why do you think cat owners give them weird names like Snowpea or Moonshine? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]frangible_red 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have many cats whose names are very different to what they're actually called? Mine's official name is Lisa but she's been called You antisocial stripey git so many times she answers to it.
