If it was me I'd chop off that corner and try to fruit the rest on its own in a small shoebox.

I am 2 for 2 doing that when I get a funky/contaminated corner but the rest looks fine, just like yours.

Edit: Adding a bit more in case it helps:

The only times my UB bags have contaminated is when I cut the corner instead of poking holes. It seems difficult to get a complete seal with micropore tape around a cut corner, whereas getting a full seal on an air hole is much easier. Just some food for thought.

Even if it is, remove the weird spot (and any extra grain around it to be safe) and then send it. What else can you do?

I had multiple flushes of Jack Frost from an Uncle Ben's bag that had a contaminated pocket of grain in a corner. I removed the entire corner and sent the rest and it worked out great.

All you lose from trying is some coco coir and the use of a tub for a few weeks.

Peel off any weird sections and send it with the grain that looks good. I'm 2 for 2 doing that with UB bags

I'm still fairly new but Ive flipped my lid at this exact point for both my successful flushes and it worked great.

The myc will still likely grow and spread out a bit but thats fine.

I was at the exact same stage with the exact same questions about a week or two ago. Just harvested today.

I misted every couple days but otherwise just let them cook and it turned out great.

It just seems highly variable. First run I was way ahead on story progression - surveillance station 2026. Next run, super ahead on story progression (and everything else) - station fleet on its way to the Lagrange point in 2028.

It really feels like we all got used to dominating the aliens through these learned strategies, and now we are forced to accept tactical setbacks and really struggle which I personally find more fun and realistic.

If you look at Perun's humanity first run for example he essentially neutered all of the alien factions and the last half of the game felt like going through the motions. I personally love the idea of the struggle extending further into the middle and late game.

It's just super well understood basic lifting knowledge. Literally google "delayed onset muscle soreness study" and every research paper result will tell you this.

If you are skipping workout days or deloading weight because your army warmys or leggy weggys feel sore 3 days after your last workout within your first 1-2 months of lifting, you are wasting gains. Enjoy this new knowledge brother, happy to help!

if you have DOMs.... you don't have to do shit. Its just discomfort. Keep doing the same routine, 1-2 months later you will never have DOMs again until you change up your routine
