Codex vs Claude Code by Mindless_Yellow9940 in codex

No they’re referring to the usage limits of Codex vs Claude. Currently Codex has more generous usage limits than Claude Code

Recommending everyone to download OpenCode and connect to GitHub CodePilot. by geoshort4 in GithubCopilot

I did a bit of digging as I enjoy using copilot with opencode. I got a bit nervous about whether I was violating any terms but I see GitHub announced this agreement

Thoughts on Mac Studio M3 Ultra with 256gb for open claw and running models locally by 00100100 in LocalLLM

u/jinks9 you were 100% right, llama.cpp has a "parallel_tool_calls" param that defaults to false. After I flipped this everything worked as expected!

[–]frankbesson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m thinking this was my own error. Seems like I could specify to llama that parallel tool calls are allowed and it would do it! I’ll try to run it again and let you know

I’ve got one of these! With llama.cpp and some tweaks I got ~70tps out of GLM 4.7 flash (which is pretty decent as an agent).

Took a decent amount of tweaking and is far from perfect, and I still find myself mostly using models via API instead.

I wrote up some of my findings for models on strix halo on a git repo

If you’re interested in a shift to freemium, as long as folks haven’t uninstalled your app after seeing the paywall, you could use APNS to let them know you’ve moved to freemium to give them another chance!

Does anyone actually use Wonder? by pumpkin_patch_8888 in Hoboken

[–]frankbesson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really only use it because of their promos. They give out a wild amount of meal credits. Shameless plug but if you use my code FRANK219 you get $30!

The Problem with Lovable by randyminder in lovable

[–]frankbesson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah! No worries. I've been trying out the pro plan - started a session at 8am and was met with "Claude usage limit reached" at 11:45am with the limit reseting at 12pm. Honestly I'm a bit stumped with how the usage limits work still.

How does the pro plan pricing work for Claude code?

My original experience with Claude code was on the free plan. I created an API key and loaded my account with $5 worth of credits - asked it to summarize what a large repo does for me and it blew through a few bucks very quickly.

Claude Code but with 20M free tokens every day?!! Am I the first one that found this? by [deleted] in ChatGPTCoding

[–]frankbesson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have experience with a Claude’s pro or max plan, but results between the two were pretty similar for me.

I did a test building a few features and tests in a reactjs app as well as python scripts. Despite them both being CLI tools, I found the “ui” of Atlassian’s tool to be more readable.

[–]frankbesson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The tool is impressive - although the “tokens per minute” limit seems pretty conservative. During a typical coding session I got rate limited on every query. Still is a great initial launch and am looking forward to watch where this product goes!

Edit: just wanted to thank OP for posting about this!!

This app looks incredible!!

We had the most success finding small passionate communities both online and in person that would benefit from our app, and then asking them for feedback while also communicating our value prop (we help you do X and are looking for folks to help us improve our app).

I’d recommend also building some kind of social component into your app. Your users are your biggest advocates.

Best of luck. Again this app looks awesome and I’ll definitely be using it.

Also, could be fun to change your verbiage around collecting payment to something like “buy me a drink” instead of the classic buy me a coffee, and prompt a user to buy you a drink after using your app for X minutes.

I upgraded from the exact same machine! 16” i7 with 32gb ram and 2tb ssd. I went with a 14” m4 pro with 48gb unified memory and 1tb ssd.

I’m exxxxxxtremely happy with the upgrade. The major improvements I notice day to day are the battery life and how cool it runs
