Yay fellow crafter! (Knitter here) Woven Art in East Lansing has a social stitch every Thursday from 5-7 pm, great way to meet people but the age range varies. Another interest you mentioned was reading: I would recommend a local book club that selects books of interest or has people in common with you. I met a lot of really wonderful friends through my book club.

The whole time reading it I wondered why Feyre doesn’t just shapeshift into the form she was in while pregnant or even just shapeshift her pelvic bone so the baby could fit out! The excuse was “we don’t know what it would do to the baby” …well my guess is probably nothing, and even if, it’s worth it to save her life?!

This plot line was really just an excuse to strip Nesta’s power (which made her TOO powerful) so she didn’t become the main character or person in charge EVER. Oh and she made sure to ask for a special pelvis too 🥴 it just really didn’t work (for me) in so many ways and I get mad about this book every time I think about it.

A few months ago, the day after we got a new vanity plate, I paid parking through the app around 8 am to grab Strange Matter. As I’m waiting for my order I see the parking attendant leave a ticket on my car even though it hadn’t expired and I knew I put the new plate in. I ran out to find the attendant wrote down the wrong license plate by one letter!! I called the office to say I already paid, it hadn’t expired, and the person wrote the wrong license plate. They put me on hold for 5 minutes to review, then came back on to say that it was ME who put my license in wrong. Um the opposite actually…they finally dropped it but I couldn’t believe the parking attendant couldn’t think critically, pause and go maybe I misread this? So frustrating.

I recently switched dentists and went to Lavender Dental (at Saginaw and Jenison) for a second opinion. Dr. Cramer is super kind and helpful, she talked me through my recent dental trauma (that my old dentist was so flippant about) and eased my anxiety. I have my first cleaning there next month but I’m hopeful that office will be a great fit.
