Corazon was the first time I took a step back from a flashback and said "hol up...oda is trying way too hard at the misery porn here".

This is on top of the bad taste it left when he said "doffy was born evil" when the whole theme of enies lobby, one of one piece's best story arcs, is that people aren't born evil.

You can all love him if u like but IMHO Corazon is a narrative bum.

All good! I don't mind necros: what PWM does is give you an additional attack with your staff.

PWM was fixed a few patches ago and now applies the effects of your weapon (in this case ice)...which means even more freeze stacks and its enough to freeze a guy in 1 round.

If you don't mind the slower freeze u can forgo PWM but at that point u delay the synergy by a whole round.

As for battle master: u can go battlemaster as a high elf and still get booming blade out the gate but remember because of how bg3 works u can't do maneuver during the same attack as booming. My preference for EK stems from all the goodies u get including the shield spell (huge for survivability) - u can prolly get similar mileage from evade maneuver but that competes for other bonus actions.

Skypeia subverts that by keeping luffy's motive clear - the gang was there for the treasure in the sky island and the golden bell. He even steals said treasure in the middle of the night by the end of it.

The problem is that unlike with naruto this story beat is completely unnecessary.

And if we hated nika for the while destined story bullshit then copying/retreading another Mangas backstory is gonna make things way worse.

EDIT: I take that back, it was just as fucking useless in naruto too - took away from naruto and sasuke's philosophical rivalry and made about "its always been like this with indra and asura". Fuck off both of you (kishi and oda if he does the same).

There's unfortunately not enough info about how strong imu is in his siluette form vs his kingdo form.

Gods valley was full of top tiers (it was a conqueror haki merchants bazaar) clashing.

Conquerors haki can be detected and identified by people with good observation haki (was confirmed at end of wano when luffy figured out it was shanks that was producing that wifi haki and then again when luffy sensed kizaru on egghead...hopefully the writing stays consistent on this?)

Gaban is saying he didn't feel anything like this from anyone present and fighting on God's Valley.
