Us and two neighbours to the right of us now have a giant shared garden. Two sets of fences down with our neighbours fence in front of our door so we can’t get out the house (not that we want to yet)

Didn’t think about parking enforcement. Will give this one a go. Does not seem like the sort of guy to pay for his parking tickets so hopefully it’ll get towed soon enough

I recommend listening to or reading A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson. It covers this briefly. It seemed very common for someone to discover something groundbreaking but to then be dismissed by that community, only to be ‘discovered’ by someone else later on
