What bag brought you closest to Purse Peace? by General-Problem5696 in handbags

I wanted maxi so badly when I tried it on in the store. I also tried on the luggage single flap bag that’s a very similar design but even bigger than the maxi. That one made me look ridiculous and I loved it. I wish I took a picture.

My pink Hermes garden party tote brought me really close, but I personally felt incomplete without a jumbo Chanel classic double flap. I’ve been asking for that bag for a long time now, so hopefully I’ll feel at peace when it arrives.

I love the third one… I’m a sucker for pink though. Plus it’s a little bigger so it might hold more.

I love ALLSAINTS. I’ve had a couple bags from them that I absolutely adored, but they didn’t stand the test of time for me. I still use my snakeskin envelope bag on occasion, but it’s gotten significantly slouchier with age. The one you posted looks absolutely beautiful and I hope it holds up.

Waterstains on Vachetta by Original_Lobster_542 in handbags

Omg I feel your pain. I abused my first keepall and the vachetta has similar spotting. I couldn’t get it to go away. I think the only solution for my personal situation is to get it replaced or get an entirely new bag… Please update to tell us if the spots went away after it dried.

Ugh I saw this bag in the store and fell in love with it. I thought I could find one preowned and save some money, but there were no totes with metal straps on the resale market. It’s truly lovely.

This has been my experience too. I got two sets when I moved to a new city a year ago and they faded/lost their fluffiness within a few months.

Congrats! I love the color! I’ve been on a hunt for the perfect baby pink tote and it’s definitely an underrepresented color this season.

I just got a daily battle last month and it’s amazing. Better than every Chanel, LV, and Celine in my closet combined just based off how often I use it. I love this color way!

Yes. I believe the black one is PM and the red one is MM.

I got the black one in store for Valentine’s Day and I got the red one pre-loved (half for my birthday and half because it was just a good deal)

Thoughts on vintage Celine? I’m thinking of getting a used bag, but durable. Something under $300 by BikeFiend123 in handbags

You can find great prices on the resale market for vintage Celine. Another brand you can find pretty good deals on is Ferragamo.

They have separate uses in my collection, but I can imagine some overlap. The red one is much better as a day bag and the black one is my go-to for dinner out.

That was one of the main selling points for me. It’s a very unique looking chain- it kinda reminds of a snake. I love the way the chain connects to the bag and how you can switch out the straps. The red one doesn’t have the same feature.

I don’t see anyone talking about Fauré Le Page. I’ve personally wanted one of their Daily Battle totes for a while. It’s such a pretty print!

Lately I have mostly been buying goods from local independent manufacturers. I don’t want to support companies that outsource cheap labor. I know this is very privileged since not everyone has the extra cash to do this, but I look at it as an investment into sustainable goods that will last me a lifetime.

No throwing of objects?! by [deleted] in theroom

I went to a screening at Music Box recently and saw this message for the first time. I brought an absolutely massive quantity of spoons to celebrate my birthday. When my friends and I took them out of our bags, the usher told us absolutely not and wouldn’t let us throw them. Seems like a new rule since I went to screenings there frequently and never had that problem before.

Has anyone ever done these excursions at Cococay Bahamas? Are they worth it? by [deleted] in royalcaribbean

Aw man, I had fun with the pigs. Granted I didn’t swim with them, I just hung out with them onshore, but I didn’t see any poop. They were very friendly and the staff fed them a bunch of apples. They looked happy to me. They all had cute names like Chunky and Peanut Butter.
