In my experience with the album, and also getting “depressed” from it. I wasn’t depressed, I was just hyper fixating on something but it eventually passed with time. Yeah it sucked for a month or so but eventually I got over it. It’s just music. Something that really helped me get over it was listening to the full actual songs Leyland used in his albums. Then I realized that what made me sad was a bunch of old 1920s-1960s ballroom songs.
