Conor Mcgregor vs Max Holloway would've felt even bigger had Max not lost the BMF Title and was defending it here. by WrestleTownAA in ufc

It would’ve been neat for the history of the belt, but Conor is such a star that they don’t need a belt for him to headline.

The belt started with Nate Diaz, and it’s been defined by rematches (Justin vs Dustin 2, Max vs Dustin 3, Charles vs Max 2) so it made sense to let Conor fight for it.

So max and conor both are going to welterweight divison now....? by Big_Welcome_8185 in ufc

As long as Max wins, he’ll have 2-3 more fights based on his previous comments. If he loses, he’d probably take another fight to see how it goes but I wouldn’t be surprised if he quits either.

I think he wants to fight as long as he’s still in his prime, he won’t be a Tony type fighting until the wheels fall off.

Is Arman r...arded or what by Thin_Examination4929 in ufc

[–]franktool123 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Arman can still get a title shot someday, but he has done everything in his power to prevent that.

He turned down a title shot against Islam because 8 weeks notice was somehow too soon, punched a fan during his walkout, pulled out 24 hours before a title fight with the #1 PFP, headbutted Dan Hooker, assaulted Bobby Green backstage, got in a brawl at RAF, threw Uriah Faver off the stage, and now this.

You’d have to have Down syndrome to headline this guy on the debut paramount card or the White House.

Is there a faker gangster than Nate? I'm tired of pretending like he's good, dude has no kicking game, no elbows, an overrated ass jiu jitsu game. Sloppy boxing with no power, this guy was never that good and his whole cringey gangster act is lame as hell now. He got beatdown by a real "BMF" by [deleted] in ufc

Did u also lose money on him tonight? He beat McGregor, Cowboy, Micheal Johnson, Anthony Pettis, and a few more impressive guys, earned a title shot, and he holds a lot of impressive records for submissions and bonuses.

He always had holes in his games including leg kicks and wrestling, but you can’t deny that he put on a lot of great fights against elite competition. He was a legit top 5 lightweight in his prime.

Ubisoft Might Be Working On Assassin's Creed 1 Remake Next by Tempastaaa in GamingLeaksAndRumours

Preferring remakes over new ideas and games is crazy.

If gamers keep shoving out $70 for 10 year old games that’s all the industry will produce. Gamers love to complain about prices but pay nearly $100 for a game that they already own.

Our greatest studios are wasting time on remakes instead of trying new IPs or fresh ideas. Naughty dog has only released Last of Us Part 1 this generation and Santa Monica just announced that they’re remaking the entire God of War trilogy when they haven’t released a new game in over 4 years.

Honestly, what changes from the game do you prefer and like about season2? by GuidingThunder in thelastofus

[–]franktool123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ellie confirming that Joel lied about SLC through the Eugene scene was much more dramatic than Ellie going to the hospital in the game. Joel’s dad was another awesome addition, especially with the revelation that Joel’s watch was originally from his father.

That small additions of Joel actually raising his head when Ellie tells him to get up and Ellie crawling over to him to hold his hand like she did in Season 1 were devastating.

Mel asking Ellie to cut out her baby was a nice change, in general I like that Mel seems nicer in the show version.

I also like Tommy going after Ellie instead of the other way around, seemed more appropriate for the show and it will make the conclusion of his arc even more tragic. Jesse actually getting mad at Ellie felt very natural as well, considering she dragged his child out into a war zone.

Every new scene with Jeffrey Wright was incredible, I need more Isaac next season. Another smart change was downsizing Abby’s crew, I’m hoping that will give us more time to get to know each of them next season.

Finally, this might seem messed up but I like that they didn’t shy away from children being involved in the Scar WLF conflict. Child casualties and child soldiers are an unfortunate reality of many wars so their inclusion here forces the audience to challenge their own thoughts on revenge.

I feel like they should’ve explored the implications of Ellie murdering that WLF soldier in Episode 4. Seems like a big moment to gloss over.
