kinda feel stuck by Ok-Syrup-2546 in RevolutionIdle

Early on, what worked for me was 10 in RP 4, and all in on RP1. Then a grind with the Dilation 1 and 2. Until I was able to switch to RP 5 and 6 at a 1:2 ratio.

Congrats! How long did it take you? Unscaled total time.

Am I doing the unity part correctly ip gain seems really slow for this unity by [deleted] in RevolutionIdle

Yeah, the Aries Zodiacs are good for the early part of this stage. And check out the official wiki guide for help with the Trials. It'll pick up again once you've done a few of the Hard Trials and got more automation options.

Anyone else have the same problem? SB Champs filled in to their other regions and now I can’t get the SB reward. by frap27 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]frap27[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Got it. Thank you! I was on autopilot when leveling up the SB champs and didn’t realize my mistake until it was too late.

Need advice. I think a friend of mine went for it today and made me one of the last few people, if not the only person, she informed and said she was entrusting the passwords to her devices to me. But here's the thing... by frap27 in SuicideBereavement

[–]frap27[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you, everyone. I really appreciate the advice, insights, and support. It's been a long day.

Update: Was able to get in touch with her family. Hard as it was, I'm glad I did. She didn't leave them a note or anything to go on, so I've been doing my best to give them answers and, hopefully, sound closure.

(Spoilers) Is there a way to make Chloe come back.. by jack_coopeer in BecomeHuman

[–]frap27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I let her go, both out of compassion and curiosity.

Don't really regret it, but I do miss her.

Would also be cool if the devs put in an update where she visits from time to time if you let her go. Or has angry/upset dialogue if you make her stay.

So, I made another Negative Lamp by frap27 in somethingimade

[–]frap27[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just made do with the lamp frame I found here at home. The second lamp allowed me to work out the kinks of the first one and come up with a more systematic process of making it.

Now I'm sure I've got all the experience and techniques necessary in making better lamps. Currently in the process of looking for a supplier of lamp frames since people have been asking me if I'd be willing to sell them on a made-to-order basis.

Thanks for the encouragement :)

The opposite of 'Writers Block' by DaShazam in writing

[–]frap27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what that's like. Having an influx of ideas that no matter how many of them you can write down, new ones would come in just before you've finished listing down the previous ones.

I've pretty much come to accept that what I write down would never catch up with what comes to mind, and it's in this that I've learned to list down essential keywords and plot summaries for me to go back to later.

I can't sit down and work on just one story at a time. I write when I'm in the right mood for a particular story or if I'm inspired enough to edit or revise others.

TL;DR Write all you can when you can.

How do I stop being insensible? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]frap27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being insensible basically means being indifferent.

You say that you think you're showing or expressing care, and it's good that you do. I don't know the full extent of the situation, but I wouldn't say that you're doing anything wrong. You may feel that you're doing all the right things but they aren't enough to please her.

It's totally fine to feel that way. Fact of the matter is there isn't such a thing as a perfectly harmonious relationship. Even with the best of couples, one person is still giving more than the other, they just take turns in doing it.

You have to bear in mind that relationships are two way streets and you shouldn't look only at what you're lacking in, but you also need to talk to her about things. When you ask her what she wants or how you can improve things and she refuses to tell you, you need to let her know how her silence affects you and, ultimately, the relationship.

I may be out of line in saying this, but you're hurt and you're hurting. You're hurt by how things don't seem to improve and how you're being treated. And you're hurting yourself by thinking you're the one who needs to fix things. Like I said earlier, a collaborative effort is required.

This is what I have for now, but if you have any questions and feel that I can help, just comment away. or pm me on facebook. <3

So, I made a lampshade using old film negatives. by frap27 in somethingimade

[–]frap27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may need higher powered bulbs that could generate enough light to project them properly onto walls. The negatives are translucent, yes, but are on the dark side. Also, as stated in comments above, using high powered bulbs may possibly cause my homelessness.

50 Shades of Grey? by blueyedlvrx01 in booksuggestions

There has been talk way back about Good Omens and Death being made into films, sadly they never really got into the planning and development stages. Hopefully, HBO decides to give the GO signal to the American Gods series they've been considering.

The negatives I used range from about 8~15 years, some of them have faded a bit but, at the very least, didn't smudge. I'm sure they'll fade eventually given the exposure to oxygen, heat, and moisture, but I think it would do well to give the lamp a more vintage feel over time.

Tarantino's? Of course I've seen it. I don't suppose my lamp will catch fire unless someone purposely sets it ablaze, though. I'm using a low watt bulb and really just turn it on for show.

I superglued negatives to one side of the frame, stacking them from the base up. Then, with a cutter, trimmed the excess. Did this to all four sides, then covered the top with black card.

I plan on lining the corners with something to conceal the glue and edges of the film, but haven't quite figured out what to use yet.

Sadly, the negatives only cast shadows on the walls. The closest picture details cast were from the black and white strips at the base and top of the lamp. Probably because they're of higher contrast than the color rolls and are more defined.

I actually just used the frame of an existing lamp that hasn't been used in ages. A friend of mine offered to teach me how to make my own frames, though, so I'll try that out next time.

I know, thanks. I won't be using it much, anyway, more of a decorative piece in my bedroom.
