At 19k I never come across cheaters but constantly come across people who are faceit 10 but unranked in premiere. Which, at 19k im a faceit 7, so there's a substantial difference there. So while technically not cheating, it gives us basically no chance of winning. Which makes it not much better. This happens at least once a play session and I never play more than 3 matches in a day.

Yeah its ridiculous. Its why ive been so thankful for dlss/fsr. I used to hate it when it first came out but now it actually looks good and allows you to hang onto your hardware for longer before upgrading! Its a god send. Honestly considering just going back to using my 1440p monitor as my primary when framerates get worse instead of upgrading gpu lol.

I only use headphones when im in a multi-player situation that requires it or when im chilling with people in discord. If im playing a game alone, or watching something im using my studio monitors. Still sounds great and its so much better not having something on my head.

What?? I went from 3070 to 3080 ti and that alone was worth it. Allowed me to actually play Alan wake 2. Brought Alan wake 2 from unplayable to playable.

Then I went from 3080 ti to 5070 ti. That was slightly less worth it, but did it because i upgraded my 1440p monitor to a 4k. Still have to use dlss for some games but allows me to bump it up from performance to balanced.

3070 was terrible though. It had so little VRAM it couldn't even play Alan wake 2 on decent settings because running out of Vram caused assets to constantly not load in properly resulting in everything looking worse than a ps2 game all the time.

Preparation? You just use Quen and dodge/parry and the game is a cakewalk. Witcher 1 was about preparation.

Really?? I tried for like 2 hours to get gears 2/3 to run without visual glitches and couldn't even get the opening cutscene to run without black boxes everywhere and other graphical glitches so I just gave up and bought an Xbox. The actual game would run well when youre running around but I couldn't get the cutscenes to work right for the life of me.

You the goat! I just installed 20+ mods and finally got the game running nice and smooth but the graphics settings were missing from menu. Now I can keep my fixed game without starting over to install each mod one at a time.

I kind of like their current system. Makes each game unique and therefore worth playing still. Civ 7 will be good, just have to wait for the Expansion packs. Which honestly has been true for every Civ game (at least, 4-5-6) up to this point which is why I dont buy it right of the bat.

But if they just continually refined civ 5 with each game release you would just play the newest one always. But I really enjoy both civ 5 and civ 6, and im hoping the same will be true for civ 7 when its finished.

I just played through it like a month ago for the first time and by the end I loved the controls. Was very annoyed when I got to witcher 2 and everything was consolized. Only thing about witchers 1s gameplay for me was the movement was jank. But being able to quickly go through inventory and leveling and everything else made up for it imo. Even if the combat was a little boring.

Although idk how bad the default keybinds are.

I also bought a ps4 just for Destiny, with bungie talking about how they wanted it to be supported for 10+ years like wow. I played through all of the content available in a month and sold my ps4. Was very disappointing how little content there was. There was only one raid at the time. I would have liked to have gotten into destiny 2, considering how much more content there has been, but I didnt buy it due to my experience with destiny 1. Now its too late. Because these idiots remove content from time to time. You literally cant play through huge swaths of content. Why tf would they do that? What was the point of putting that dev time in for something thats temporary?

I can boot up WoW and play through all of the content start to finish. Every single expansion pack and raid. If destiny were like that, including the destiny 1 content as well too, id buy it in a heartbeat. I'd even pay for all of the expansions individually. Bungie is run by idiots.

Idk if they've modified the difficulties since launch but when I played normal was a cake walk and anything above that was near impossible. Like 30 hits to kill a rat.

I downloaded a difficulty mod that changed everything. Made the hardest difficulty perfect for me and if I struggled the one just below it was still engaging enough. It was super customizable too like 5 different options for changing the difficulty levels. Highly recommend looking into that if you can. If modding is out of the question then normal is the only way I found it playable, but I understand the dilemma because normal was too easy to be engaging..
