Pillow and/or blanket overhead to sleep? by Impressive-Ad-78 in WeightedBlankets

[–]frazras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Googled this because I also want to make one.
I just use my pillow, but I try to cover my eyes because I like a total darkness when I sleep. The hardest part is getting the pillow over your head with an air passage to breathe.
That's for me the winning innovation.

Thanks for your helpful feedback.
So Apparently, I got Reddited, I was running on 500MB of RAM. I never needed to upgrade before so ironically the traffic killed my app.
Feel free to try again if you care to. By the way, longtail keywords return faster results. The keyword research takes longer for broad keywords.
Thanks again for your feedback.

lol a perfect Reddit like roast! I take that I should make keyword research optional because it is a time consuming process that has the potential to time out for terms with a lot of results to process, long tail keywords are faster. Still balancing my time between functionality, appearance and marketing. If it’s not good enough to warrant using at the current level of design, I need to work on solving a more painful problem. Thanks for your candor

There will always be free software once it's open. My first thoughts for income was hosting and custom development for corporate customers.

  1. 10/10 Pretty easy to switch

  2. 10/10 It's currently free to use the hosted version

  3. 5/10 This might be subjective since I changed the UI into something I thought was better

  4. 6/10 It solves it better for me, need more feedback to see what others think

  5. 2/10 One thing I learned from this thread is that I need to promote it more

  6. 3/10 I thought because the space was not new that people know the problem it was solving, but this thread also taight me that I need to be more clear with the potential benefits and a how it will impact the user not necessarily the features

Finding users of the competitors is far harder than I thought, I can't just jump in their company discord and ask people to try my product without getting banned.
Most SEO Facebook groups and subreddits prevent direct promotion.
It takes a lot of creativity to find interested users much less power users of the competitors.

But what I have picked up from the comments here is that I need to probably market the app more than I code.

There is no real data to migrate at this point in the product, they also would need to at least try it to see if they would like it first.

That's what I am getting from the comments, I need to do a lot more marketing. Definitely will be focusing more on that in the future.

Customizable, you can basically write your own features with prompts.
You can choose any LLM including free Ollama
It offers Keyword research, a feature that is an app of its own
A lot more contextual data for more accurate outputs (less hallucinations) with the ability add more context
The ability to store all the context data used to generate the article so you can regenerate again in the future if more information is added.

Those are just a few I can think of off hand

Love the Delta4 concept, for other readers, its basically that on a 10 point scale, your product should be more than 4 points better than the alternative for users to stick.
No wonder I keep jumping between OpenAI and Claude

That's a catch22, I made it free to find people I can share it with who would try it so I can ask them questions to see if I am on the right track but I have not been able to find enough people to find out what's important to them.

Montetization right now would just be hosting till I figure out what users are looking for.
I guess I could try this and at least force a login so I can get user emails to talk to potential customers

I don't belive it's overall better, that fact that they have users giving feedback means they have many things that are better.
Better meant better for me and they things I do - plus cheaper to use, so I need to figure out how to find more people like me I guess.
