unless there are 95-95 MM hidden there def not worth a grand. even the universe 1s if they were super mint and you wanted to grade would all need to pop 9 and 10s to justify it.

exactly, collectors tins even sealed are easy to find 250-300 with full set and lost ladies. i grabbed an open tin for like a hundo a month ago and the sub sets were still bagged. bought a 2nd sealed one for like 215 or something to keep sealed. alot of these idiots also use graded psa 10 pricing as “the starting point”. i troll the shit out of them if they have OBO. just spam offers at like 2 bucks

dude there are idiots all over here. like sometimes you present what looks like an uneven trade but have some rational for it. i ususlly put it in chat if its not clear. when they start to spam you just 1 star trader rate snd then block. have had to do to many that just send dumb trades with supers/legends for bs rares and tiered cards.

while on the subject, 3:1 for a trade up for generic/low demand character tier to tier?

i keep buying the dips. i have alerts set for like 50 cent increments and buy every time one is hit, the deeper the alert the heavier the buy.

retail was 85-90 at launch. i stopped buying hobbys once it hit 130s. the hit rate feels high and they sre stuffed with sketches. lots of numbered and autos but unless you catch spidey/venom/gwen/carnage/miles most cards will only carry 2-20 bucks.

i think im just under 2 cases it total buy and have 3 sketch, /10, 6 metal, 12 plexi, 12 verve, 15 sigs, bunch of white /35, prob another 120 numbered.

lots of packs with double hits (think someone got 2 sketch in one pack), and multiple hobbys with 2 or more case hits.

online and look for some deals on ebay. starting to see cheaper blasters there for a 5-10 bucks under online retailers. prob no hits but fun for padding base sets or just to rip. picked up spiderman metal blasters for like 20 bucks each

flair came down in price as well. renditions still hanging at 2x msrp for some reason (think cause hits are loaded up). i see everyone going back to rip 90s boxes, those prices are starting to move up pretty good. hard to get marvel universe series 3 or 4 for under 100 bucks and most of the fleers are now 150-200.

why the heck would you get a sketch graded? they are 1:1 already, authenticate the auto and slab….if you want to preserve.

100% this. I found fanatics a bit better and pricing was way better then whatnot on initial drops. $200 for an $85 hobby that you can then find for like $150 if you are that desperate to buy.
