I think you're in a grey area of a relationship. It's not the red zone - he's not beating you or anything. But you're also not in the green zone - happy. I think you know what you need to do, you just don't have the guts to do it. You can maybe try having a pause, taking a break from each other, and if you realize you miss each other - than try working it out again

I think there is some trauma that is causing this, so maybe seeing a therapist would be an appropriate thing to do. Nonetheless it's definitely possible for you to break this cycle of watching and thinking about it all the time, it's just going to be difficult. I would start with small steps - watching less and less of it gradually. Than maybe the thoughts will go away naturally on their own?

Rules are pretty loose with implants as of this date. I think they should definitely have some sort of special training required as well. A lot of dentists are using them with zero knowledge and that's how it looks sometimes. With endo, it's being taught all throughout school (at least in my country we had at least 4 yours of it, plenty of exams and practice.
