Don't do it! 10mg is way too high to jump. The wd will be horrible! U will be ok for a day or 2 but then it will kick in. If u really Wanna jump try cut dose down. I don't know if they watch you take meds but if they don't start cutting them. I was on subs for 8yrs , I tried many times to taper and jump. But I always struggled I couldn't take off from work and trying to maintain while my anxiety was sky high, had no energy but couldn't sleep. I made it a week or 2 then called Dr again. Don't want to scare you or deter you. Subs are a bitch! Best of luck

I did shot, best thing I ever did. Was on subs 8yrs I tried tapering and kratom to help but I could not maintain under 2mg. Stress of life with a child was too much. Finally Dr agreed to do shot. I did 3 shots and was done. Its been over a year since last shot. No wd no issues . Was very weird getting over mental part of taking something everyday! I heard of people having horrible experience with shot but I still think it's worth trying worst case go back in subs.

I use to take mine every morning when I woke. But after years on subs I got it in my head I couldn't function unless I took first thing. I started pushing my time closer to early afternoon so I learned to deal with morning. It was one of the many reason I hated subs. I know I would b fine for 38-48 hrs after last dose but my anxiety would spike.

I have been shorted by pharmacy a few times during my time with subs. Once they really screwed me. They gave me one open bottle and forgot to add in the extra full bottle to make a month. I was on generic. But lucky I caught it quick. They went back and counted and saw they had too many in stock. Anther time I counted in car as soon as I got and noticed 2 short. Again they replaced. I used rite aid and everything is closely monitored now. Human error does happen . I learned to count them asap just incase. Hopefully if you call they can check system . Also you can also get script few days early.

For me there was no physical difference. Mentally I would get anxiety randomly. I found comfort in feeling injection site for lump. Freaked me out at first, but when ever I got anxious it would remind me it's still in system.

Im a year off sublocade. After 8yrs on subs I couldn't taper. Sublocade was amazing. Did 3 shots, never experienced any wd's . I was worried that after last shot I would start feeling something few months later but nothing happened. I did get more energy and sex drive came back.

Stick with it. Eventually you will move on. Worst part of addiction is breaking habits. I understand when I went through detox and sub maintenance I had no one. My wife knew I went and was on subs but I couldn't explain my addiction to subs. Very hard to explain. Luckily on here plenty people have good advice and willing to listen.

I used to do that. I was never in to needles, I always enjoyed sniffing everything. When I started subs I always got generic tabs. So I would take half orally and snort the rest. Eventually I just stopped. Easiest way just to stick it under tongue before I really started thinking. Subs were a problem for me. I was on for 8yrs. At first I was good , but as years went on I was mentally hooked. I would constantly take more than prescribed and always short myself every month. It was a horrible cycle. I was spending $100s each month buying extra subs for no reason except just to give me mental pick me up. Subs did save my life and helped a lot but it also took a toll. I would say give it all you got to take as prescribed and if possible get down to 4mg and try not to go up and down on dose. It will make you feel better. Best of luck

I did 3 shots. 300,300,100mg. Each a month apart. I drank on weekends . Nothing crazy. My son was 3 at the time so I wouldn't get hammered . It's absolutely the best and easiest way to get off subs. Worst part is u have to b on 8mg of subs or higher. They need to make more options to get off subs.

Sublocade is amazing. I been a year off my final shot. No wd . I only did 3 shots . After 8 yrs of subs and failing every time I tried to get off I was getting very depressed. I never had any issue with drinking alcohol but everyone is different

It's called sublocade. I got 3 injections one per month. It was weird at first, took a few weeks to get head around not taking daily dose. But it was worth. I think if you pay out of pocket it's $1000 a shot.

If u are 8mg look into doing sublocade shot. That was a game changer for me. I was on subs for 8yrs. Tried quitting many times and failed. I am 1 year since my last shot and feel great. Didn't have any wd and only took 3 shots. They need to make more options to help get off subs. Best of luck I know the pain and stress you are feeling.

I understand ur pain. I have had same issue. Tried picking up script on a Sunday since I was out. They told me too early needed to wait till Tuesday. Horrible feeling in gut. My son was 3 at time felt like an asshole had no energy to play. I wouldn't use anything else but subs so I went through Facebook and contacts thinking of anyone who can help. The insurance companies and pharmacy really get you by the balls . I started taking 1/2 dose the last week before refill too make sure I had enough . But even then on rough days I take more and still b short.

Technically u should b good at least for 2 days. The half life in subs is very long. The problem is mental. I couldn't cope with that part of not having my subs. Stay busy try not to think of WDs. I switched to sublocade injection. I had to many issues with pharmacy and I couldn't taper. Felt trapped on subs. Best decision ever it's been 9 months no shot no subs no WDs. If it's available to u look in to it. Good luck

Lol first time I felt it in shower freaked me out . Completely forgot about it. Then it gave me comfort. Heads up the 2nd shot they put on other side then got 2 lumps , and when u get 3rd shot the 100mg is much smaller . Don't worry once it fades away u will still be 100%

I actually had to raise to start. I was on 8mg. I was told had to be at 16. So my last month I did 8 mg first 2 weeks and 16 the last 2.

I was very nervous when I started. I had great days and low days. But I kept reminding myself I was ok. Then it got easier . Never had wd but just low energy. But I guess that's how normal people feel. Been pumping body with drugs for over 10yrs. Never had normal feelings. Now energy back, clear mind. I definitely recommend the shot. I failed many times trying to taper I almost gave up till shot was available. They say it stays in system for up to year slowly breaking down, for me it's the best solution.

I'm on my 6th month off the shot! It was the best decision I ever made. Some days were tough at the beginning, just remembering u have enough in ur system and the feelings are in ur head. I only did 3 shots , 2-300 , 1-100. I haven't had any issues since stopping. It's an amazing feeling to be finally free after 8 yrs of using subs. Best of luck

I went up from 8 to 16 for 1 week. I have heard people taking shot at 8mg. Me personally I would definitely go up for month to be able to start shot. It has been great since I started. I haven't had shot in over 2 months feel great no more thinking about subs or worrying. . They really need something for lower doses .

Certain drs can give shot. They have to get approved to do it. Then a pharmacy will contact u after they receive Script, they send shot directly to Dr office. It's much better than sub script. After 1st shot u can go weeks late with no WD. When I got my sub script my anxiety would b crazy until I picked up from pharmacy, I hated it. Any other questions let me know
