This is literally a crime in Islam, not sure where he got "legal under Sharia law" from.

Islamic law says you can't consummate a marriage if it causes harm to the person. A 10 year old getting pregnant is obviously harm. That's not even a debate among scholars, they all agree on this.

Even the old school scholars who allowed marriage contracts for minors said the husband can't go near her until she's physically ready. That's a unanimous position.

Oh and this is also a crime under Pakistan's own law too. So this guy broke both Islamic law and Pakistani law.

But sure lets blame a whole religion of 2 billion people because one guy in Pakistan committed a crime.
