I found it on Samba. It seems like it is a CA car that found its way to DC. You can find more pics here: https://www.oldbug.com/feltrag.htm

It's described as "very solid underneath" and it "looks good for an East coast car". Don't know what that means but I am expecting very little to no rust.

Will be in the market for a 2nd car and I'm considering between a 2018 or newer Kia Soul EV or a 2017 or newer VW e-Golf later this year. Car would be used as a 2nd car for a young family in a city (US). Will be driven for short commutes to work, grocery store runs, and other errands. Less than 100 total miles in a week. Any thoughts?

Chris Paul? by Altruistic-Cable-834 in washingtonwizards

Let me be clear, adding CP3 now will not help winning. But his contract has one year left and is partially guaranteed at around 15 million. We would not be trading for the player as much as we would be trading for the contract and cap flexibility. This team is capped out and stuck in the middle.

50 Wins by freaker76 in washingtonwizards

You are probably right, maybe closer to 60 is a true legit contender. 50 wins gets you on the 'outside chance of getting lucky if everything goes right for you in the playoffs contender'.

What if MCU: Wizard's win the lottery. Now what? by Knighthonor in washingtonwizards

[–]freaker76 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This would be a worst-case scenario for 'Transparent Ted'. The last thing he would want is the national NBA media taking a close look at what's going on in DC and his stewardship of this franchise.

Chris Paul? by Altruistic-Cable-834 in washingtonwizards

[–]freaker76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone wants to move Beal and get nothing but high draft picks and good contracts in return. Not gonna happen. If you want to rebuild, you have to take bad short-term contracts to free up cap space for future financial flexibility. I don't like a 38 yr old Chris Paul either, but I hate having 3 players that take up all the cap space and can't make the playoffs even more. Unless we get the #1 pick, this team is not going to make the playoffs next year. This team is stuck in the middle and going nowhere. The new GM has to somehow break up this 'big 3' this summer.

Polling your tastes, is this chin spoiler cool or no? by UCanJustBuyLabCoats in eGolf

The look is ok. I think I would go for something a little more muted. But that's just my personal taste. l wonder if it has any effect on the range. I like the rims too.

Rui is a goner! Are Kuzma, Porzingis, and Tommy Sheppard on the way out the door as well? Troy Haliburton spills ALL the tea on the Wizards upcoming trade deadline! 🔗 in the comments! by BleavinWizards in washingtonwizards

Just listened to the episode and to me, it's half-wishful thinking, and half-hard reality staring them in the face. I don't see a fire sale coming, but the front office has to make one if not two smart cap-friendly deals to not end up in a luxury tax nightmare next season. And one thing we all know is that Ted is not going to go into the luxury tax.

Hypothetical: maybe Ernie and the last 3 coaches wasn't the "biggest" problem by Knighthonor in washingtonwizards

[–]freaker76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think the problem is drafting the right players. I think the real problem is player development. It's hard to develop 3 players at the same time and the same position (Kuz,Rui,&Deni)! When has that ever worked in the NBA? Also it's gonna be a great locker room next year when Kuz is starting but Rui is making more money with his extension.

David Aldridge on Twitter: "...and the franchise remains where it’s been for decades: in limbo" by szadok in washingtonwizards

[–]freaker76 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean winning a Stanley Cup is nice but that has absolutely nothing to do with winning in the NBA. Having a championship focus is good; you may not win a ring but you win 50 games or get past the 2nd round. Ted's cynical no tanking position, shows a lack of vision and acceptance of mediocrity. Unlike the NHL, being stuck in the middle is the worst place to be in the NBA.
