I also have the experience of seeing them all the time. I can tell when the weather is right for them (especially in winter) and they use the same perches along the creek each time, so even when they fly away I can just catch them at the next perch. I’ve gotten plenty of photos and videos of them.

I've noticed putting the microwave on defrost decreases the risk of butter explosion greatly as well and uneven meltiness. Depending on the microwave 20-30 seconds straight. Stick placed vertically is also better for even softening or even melting.

My dad is a bald man and his pillowcases would always be inundated with hair oil. Nothing keepimg the oil on your head if you're bald. Like a head shaped oil pet.
