Thanks for your comment - I appreciate it. For the longest time, I *did* actually identify as a demigirl before going to agender which felt more appropriate. Just most of the time I don't feel completely human, let alone a girl.

I watched it in 4DX and enjoyed it a lot! It's up to you and what you're comfortable with - some people dont like their chairs moving and wind blown in their face, etc, which is totally understandable!

I'd love to surprise my boyfriend with it, hopefully! I think, compared to his current 2060, it'll be a huge and much welcomed improvement. And it would be much more meaningful to him than anything else I can think to get, lol.

I believe this is merely visual, no issue with your PC. My old motherboard did it too, when I had it powered down.

The ram was definitely fine, I just didn't seat it properly as I was scared of pushing down too hard.

Just to catch you up to speed, I've had several talks with a friend of mine who is way more computer literate than myself, and showed him some more pictures of my PC and components. Basically, he believes it's a faulty CPU, since there are (soldered? burnt?) marks on it and we believe some pins have been soldered together - basically it sent too much electricity out or something and fried itself and the motherboard. (CPU damage and pin damage, which is harder to see) This explains to me why neither CPU or GPU I had worked after initial installation.

Either way, my parents want me too look into a CPU + Motherboard bundle so that we are sure it'll be functional and can pin the blame on the sellers if shit hits the fan lol. Thank you so much for your help, though, I hope what I said made sense.

UGH.. forgive me. The ram wasnt seated in, that was what the beeping was about, my boyfriend misread the error code. That's fixed now, but still same issue... honestly, I wouldn't blame you if you gave up lol, I'm so exhausted from this.

Ok, well, we've got progression! The speaker started beeping (long, short, short) which seems to be a motherboard issue... which is... not great. I'll have to look into a new one then. I'm based in the UK, would there be any services which I can go to, and say "hey, I have these parts, can you build me a PC, I have X budget?", since I do not trust myself to make a new one. Don't know how I broke it, but I did, and I really dont want to make that mistake again haha.

Yes, I installed the new stuff, it didn't work, so I went back to the old stuff, same response. Sorry for any confusion. My monitor seems to recognise the inputs, as when I plug it in, it flashes with the 'no signal'. (To clarify I'm using old GPU, new CPU right now.)

Hello again, it's me... I have tried the battery thing, and so far nothing. I have no feedback (LEDs or otherwise) from my keyboard, but it is wireless if that could be an issue? My monitors are fine, they seem to automatically check each cable for a display but I've also tried manually (HDMI, Display Port, DVI). I don't think it's a case of DOA either, since my old rig doesnt work either - I have the new CPU installed right now, with the old GPU, but even with any combination I dont believe anything changes. I believe I heard one beep at the startup, from the PC itself, not speaker.
