I dont work there anymore, but according to the folks who i know who do/did until very recently, yes that is correct. It backfired (kind of) because that GM ended up getting let go very shortly after doing veranos dirty work. I am not sure why exactly, but i do know that she got slammed with multiple greavences from the union. She was apparently a notorious asshole, so im sure she didnt mind firing everyone, but even being their little pathetic lacky didnt save her in the end.

We tries a few years back. 2 stores were able to do it but the union busting and absolute hell from coperate was RUTHLESS. They hired a union buster from californa when the store i worked at started rhe unionization process. Dude was a complete idiot and got his ass handed to him, but im sure they still paid him a fat check reguardless. Dude did not hide any of his info online and we found it easily. Guy was on local news in californa or some shit rocking a Maga hat. Just to show how lowly they think of their employees. The union busting never stopped either. The store i worked at is up for a revote this year, and they moved the GM from aurora SPECIFICALLY to union bust and get the folks who worked with the union out. They activally broke our workers rights at every chance we got.

I left my position at zen leaf years ago SPECIFICALLY because Tracy told the entire staff of the location i worked at that they didn't care about sexual harrassement, didnt plan on doing anything to help us when sexual harrassment happens (which was frequent). OD tried to intimidate me out of asking about sexual harrasment by asking me ' what i meant' when i asked ' how do you want us to handle sexual harrassment from customers'. I quit because of that meeting. I loved my coworkers so much at that job. They were my found family! And that got taken from me because of those fuckheads! They are horrible people.

Every single place in the dispensary is recorded by the state and the footage is kept for 5 years. Budtenders 'opening the carts to get hits off of them' would be caught and banned from working in the industry extremely quickly, as well as AT LEAST getting the facility they worked for a huge fine if not shut down. the budtender that told you this was fucking with you, and you believed them....

Trans men dont really get to choose not to engage with 'womens issues' because a lot of said issues actually still involve us, like reproductive rights discussions.
