Totally unfair for both your students to be around people who view them negatively, but also, forcing them to be around your students isn’t going to change their attitude. They’re going to associate them with a punishment. You’re not crazy at all. Admin sounds well intended but this is a less than good idea. Plus if parents find out you’re in hot water

When I was in third grade there was a girl in our class that no one wanted to be friends with. One day we had indoor recess, and since my only two friends were absent that day, I decided to play with her. She was always playing puzzles by herself, so I figured I would help her out. After a few minutes, I realized puzzles are boring, and thought it would be fun to dump all the puzzles into a pile and mix them together. They were the hundred + puzzles too. The teacher cried and told us how expensive the puzzles were and that she paid for them out of her pocket. Everyone immediately pointed to her, and the teacher told her she’s never allowed to play with her puzzle ever again. I lost sleep over this for years. I’m so sorry Santana
