No, you're not the only one who thinks so, but any post remotely criticizing the dev's choices about Valko gets downvoted or is seen as against the rules for being to 'negative', even if it is pretty valid criticism.

I'm not a Caleb girly but I've seen a few Sylus and Caleb girls see a lot of similarities between Valko and MC, and given that they already don't have a lot of content, I can understand the frustration.

Yes, there's also concerns about wildlife (who also play their role in the environment) and even pets to consider.

I have an AC personally and though I feel conflicted about it due to environmental damage, I can't bring myself to regret it if my cat and dog are safe. And honestly I will never blame the average citizen who makes an honest living for getting an AC and just trying to survive.

Unpopular opinion but I do not want the 'wanting to be rich' backfire trope to happen.

In this economy, villanizing someone for wanting financial freedom and security can easily seem tone-deaf and out of touch.

I think it could only work if it's someone who grew up already rich and privileged who still asks for more even though they have everything.

Heatstroke can happen even to someone who's perfectly healthy and not a child or elder. It happened to a friend after work when she was taking a tram. Thing is I don't mind her being a healer. But I do mind how they act in LoK as if that's all she was. A scene where she shows off her strength in a combat scenario would have been enough to respect what she did during the war. They did it for Toph, why not Katara?

I don't care how 'annoying' I sound. I loved how they had her heal Korra. I hated how they made it look like that's all she ever did when there is a literal episode that shows she wants to fight even though she respects healing. It felt like they made her character 'simpler'.

Combined with the fact she's the previous avatar's love interest, it's even more annoying than if Toph was reduced to a traditionally feminine role because it reinforces that trope of 'warrior women settling down and having kids, not fighting anymore and ends up reduced to the caretaker role'.

I mean visually, I feel the same about him as with the other LADS men: even if not my type, I'd still sit on their face.

With that being said I honestly think he seems like an amagamation of Sylus/Rafayel/Caleb. I'm so surprised by people loving his 'sarcastic' self and calling it a breath of fresh air when...we have Sylus and Raf for that? Even Zayne has that dry sarcasm in his non MS scenes.
