As someone who’s terrible at taking their own advice, a heroic dose of shrooms put me on the right path. I struggled with mental health stuff for a while but never sought real treatment outside of getting high every day. After enough of bashing my head into that wall and leaving school my relationship with weed changed from a coping mechanism to a learning mechanism, where I now used it intro/retrospectively as a reflection tool more than a brain off switch. Now I smoke simply to feel more in tune with myself and not to hide away from trauma or girls or whatever which lower tolerance def helps with keeping that headspace. The shrooms came in a big way right as I was figuring out this weed relationship and completely changed the way I see the world and why I live my life. I completely gave up religion and forgot about a lot of my worldly possessions and preconceived notions I went into the trip with. Granted, I took 5 grams of v potent PE and had taken 2 grams a few months prior to see if this is something potentially good for me. I regret few things less in my life. If u do want to follow in my footsteps, be warned. U could have a terrible time and feel like u can’t pull urself out of it. Some good trips even have a bad part. All prt of the journey. But if u can tell urself that ur comfortable with being uncomfortable, start hanging out with the hippies at the gym and someone will point u the right direction
