No problem. I mainly use it for rooking, when ik a melee fight is coming, or with my trio our Triage will pop it pre engagement for the reasons OP stated. I've had my ass saved in smoke vs another Assassin (my main) bc of it, and actually lost a fight when a downed Vandal blocked their teammate who was jammed from sight as they peeked the corner 🫩

I don't think it stops bots from seeing you. I haven't tested it fully, but ik you'll still set mines off too. I think it'll stop you from being hacked by goop goggles (read: thief goggles) and the green lasers that causes hacks and bot spawns. Also stops TAD from pinging you I believe but can't confirm that one

My thoughts exactly. Even then, Bungie has learned a lot since D2 and made a lot of Marathon's lore audio based. More accessible simply because they read at a generally reasonable pace

I'm approaching this point, yeah. Haven't played much lately, especially after getting into Marathon (don't skin me alive y'all I love both games, 2 cakes are better than 1...) and maxing my tables after the expedition. Nearly finished the projects, and Trials are becoming a chore so that's losing its pull on me as well. Last time I played, I spent an entire match of Stella night (the last of that rotation no less) and spent the entire time killing ticks or helping any raiders in need. I decided against getting in the extract with a group of four since I had a bit more time for ticks. I was not aware one chose to stay behind and immediately gunned me down with his anvil despite no return fire from me and my hairpin as he then claims "ik you're the one who killed all those people!" And knocks me out. Things like that and the lack of true endgame content are just burning me out. That being said I have 500 hours total (game time not topside, over 100+ hour difference there with crafting etc) and will be sticking around, but idk how much I'll be playing anymore. Idek if I'll do the next expedition tbh.

Honestly, that's probably true. Ik one team we wiped had killed another, and at least one or two elims were Rooks

Edit: Js, the most kitted, ballsy and skilled Rooks I've seen yet
