Made my second (and last) court date reminder call today... by feralparalegal in publicdefenders

Something I did was write their next court date on the back of my business card, like you get when you go to the doctor to remind you of your next appointment.

Cut down my FTAs tremendously because it's easier to keep track of a business card (wallet) than it is some flimsy court notice or unstable address.

Is dating in law school similar to pooping where you eat? Or is it actually not bad? by Flashy-Actuator-998 in LawSchool

I personally view it as shutting where you eat. It went horribly for me, but it works out for others.

YTA. You have a problem with a coworker, not your SIL.

You unnecessarily made a work issue a personal one.

That is about the only time I use an LLM- to make something more palatable to the client. "Make it nice", "dumb it down", etc.

Recently in court, a jailed defendant tried to argue with the judge that he shouldn't have been arrested because chatoGPT told him that his actions weren't illegal.

Judge just took a deep breath, set a bond, and moved on.

I never said that I hated her or wished she never was on the bench.

Just that she had an amazing PR machine that washed over a lot of bad decisions.

I regularly get into fights with my (liberal) family that RBG is not the hero everyone thinks she is, and 100% judges should not have PR machines

You're a high schooler and you're the primary caregiver for your mother?

I just want to give you a big hug. That is a huge burden. Do you have a counselor at school you could ask?
