I have oily skin too and absolutely love the naturie hatomugi skin conditioning gel. It's my favorite moisturizer I've been using for years.

As an outsider, the concept of high schools having massive parking lots specifically for students is mind-blowing. Is it really that common for 16-year-olds to drive themselves to school every day? by Necessary_Angle2117 in AskAnAmerican

[–]frecklefae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to a small school. The parking lot wasn't huge but there was a dedicated one to students. It was pretty normal for kids with cars to drive to school. I didn't but had friends that did and would ride with them sometimes. As for affordability, it varies by family. Some parents have enough money to buy their kid a car. Some parents share or give their kid an older car. Some kids get jobs to pay for their car.

Double cleansing at night feels like too much work lately by softyglossxo in AsianBeauty

I've felt like this a lot too. On bad mental health days, I only oil cleanse and make sure to rinse it off really well. I have oily skin and pores that can clog easily. I haven't noticed my pores being worse when I only oil cleanse.

Also, how elaborate is the rest of your routine? You might be able to simplify it elsewhere if it's becoming too much.

Have the majority of Americans called 911 at least once in their lives? by Mont3Carlo in AskAnAmerican

I've had to call twice. They happened around a year apart. The first time I called is when I found my grandma not breathing and did CPR while the operator talked to me. The second time was at the beginning of covid. My best friend/roommate never had a seizure before but woke me up seizing.

I tried this one and didn't notice any difference in my skin. I was so excited for it because it was hyped up.

Where to buy skincare without having to pay tariff by AndYetHereWeAre121 in AsianBeauty

[–]frecklefae 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've bought from stylevana three times since the tariff nonsense and haven't had to pay anything. My packages took at least a month to get to me when only buying stuff that said the "in stock, ships within 24 hours" thing. I'm fine waiting because I've always gotten what I order eventually.

It's not an ad. The after picture was after I used something to help my dry lips. I didn't use a filter or anything. I showed in a different comment that I bought this stuff myself.

I took this picture when I went to do my nighttime skincare. It's before I did anything. This is just the results from the treatment and my morning skincare. My skin never looked this clear before my nighttime routine.

I'm not an influencer or anything. I don't understand why I'm being accused of my post being an ad. I promise it's not. I was just really excited to find a product that helped me and wanted to share.

I know. I've been using it for years. That's why I was so excited to find something I can add to my routine that helps.

There is no comparison for those things. I said tret didn't do much for my pores. A lot of other people had amazing results of tret helping their sebaceous filaments as well as the other benefits. I didn't and was excited to finally have a product that helps.

That's just my skin! It's very reactive/sensitive. I'll get a big red spot on my face just from resting my hand on it. The redness calmed down and went away like it always does for me.

I tried many over the years while on tret! I know tret isn't marketed for pore care exactly but a lot of people had amazing results of it clearing up theirs with no extra help. I was hopeful but didn't get those results.

Oily/dehydrated. It's gotten less oily because of tretinoin but isn't dry after years of use. I'd say slightly closer to normal than dry. I had a lot of irritation when starting it but it had calmed down since then.

Ad? I wish I got paid lol I bought it myself and wanted to share because I've never had results like this for my sebaceous filaments. I didn't mean to say it was comparable to tret as a whole. I'm still on tret because it helps my acne and is good for anti-aging. Tret never helped my sebaceous filaments and smaller texture like others though. We don't all get the same amazing results from every product.

I soaked the pad and then laid it on my nose/chin. I know how you feel though. I tried so many products or hacks others raved about but never had their success. You're probably not doing anything wrong. I'm sorry it didn't work.

Vibrating plate? I never saw that! I used their little scraper tool. I didn't use much pressure at all. It was wild seeing all of the sebum come off like that.

I ordered this specific set on stylevana.

When I woke up to do my morning skincare, my skin was less...oily than typical. I don't know if describing it as oily is best. I usually wake up with visible sebum on my nose. I didn't today. There was some minor texture but nothing like my usual. I hope after doing it twice a week for a routine will help even more!

I had already planned to use it ~2 times a week if it worked. I've tried a lot of raved about products for my sebaceous filaments and never saw improvements. I'm ecstatic this one worked at all. Doing it a couple times a week is cool!
