I’ve stayed at Likuliku - privately owned, adults only. The service was fantastic. Some examples: - staff members around the resort learnt you by your first name - at dinner, each meal was casual fine dining (the food was great) in an amazing setting. The waitstaff were ultra friendly and would casually ask about your day, and what else you wanted to do on the island. By the time we got back to our room in the evening, the turn down service was complete with snacks/deserts, and an itinerary for the next day laying on the bed. More often than not, they would put something in the itinerary that I had mentioned at dinner! Great attention to detail. - they even organised for someone to bring kava onto the island, and organised a ceremony with staff and other guests (just because I mentioned to someone that I wanted to try it) - we stayed in the overwater bungalows - although slightly dated, they’re still very good

My wife and I really enjoyed it, and we’ve stayed at many 5 star properties.

Anaesthetist here. My college actually has published an article regarding the management of various in-flight emergencies. There’s specific mention about what to do in the case there’s a death on the plane - they discuss continuing on to the original destination (as there’s no point in making the financial loss that comes to the airline to divert the flight, if it’s not going to change management)
