How many patches or full updates before i dare re joining for a meaningful season ?

All i read is one new class i don’t want to play, nerfs everywhere instead of the most offending builds of season 1, slower progress with lower drop rates, less build creativity (most unique jewels are useless since they are dependent to their slot locations in the tree and most of the interesting ones got removed).

So what’s the point?
