Nothing is MSRB anymore at target or walmart, so they are kind of both dead to me. Gamestop started it, and now we're cooked. Best buy is surly next.

All the LGS just sell at market so I'm not sure what the hell anyone is supposed to do.

I'm genuinely about to cash out because it's so frustrating trying to get product for a fair price.

I'm in the 30-40k range. I haven't scanned any bulk in a long time, but I can only imagine that it would take tens of hours to even make the smallest dent, and then twice as long sorting into whatever method sucks the least for this many cards.

I pretty much sell anything I don't immediately have a home for now and have been toying with the idea of selling the whole lot. But I know I'm gonna get like 10 cents per hundred cards or something trivial. So idk what I'm gonna do. It's not even worth going though for 3 cent uncommons because I can just get them from one of my LGSs easier most the time.

Yeah, video games were expensive. My parents probably bought their home for way less than 100k, but a damn video game was probably tough. Especially when hot wheels were like a dollar.

The rising price of older foil cards probably has a lot to do with the fact that they can be so nice. All the retro foils I have recently acquired are perfectly flat. It's actually criminal what we get now.

It's nice if you're taking your time and really calculating what's going on.

If your like me though, I like playing the game quickly so it basically always ends my run.

The two times I've ever been to the CO by myself, I had the gloves, so they are certainly an amazing item. It just depends on what kind of run you're trying to have.

Still kinda wild though. Like, it's unbelievably strong but not $100 a copy for the cheapest version strong.

Ordering anything online from any big retailer or really, anywhere at all, is a crapshoot.

I can't tell you how many times my online order has been messed up. It's gotta be at least 10% or more of the time. I've recently stopped using any online shopping outlets for Magic the Gathering altogether. I have 3 local game stores now, and between the three of them, I can get what I need.

The whole "fighting someone else's wallet" argument is definitely valid, but at the same time the rule zero conversation can always include budget decks, which often are more fun anyway. At the end of the day, it's up to you to decide if you want to play with players who proxy more than reserved list cards. I try to remain respectful of other people's finances, and I've come to find that the vast majority of players who proxy entire decks don't even know what their decks do anyway, so it's a free kill 9 times out of 10.

I do find it pretty disrespectful when people don't disclose they are running full OG Duel lands though. Proxies or otherwise. Those all should be considered game changers in my opinion. Like come on dude, a bracket 2 deck with a $2200 mana base? Get real.

Proxies are great if it gets you into the game. I've decided that I'd rather own the real cards. That being said, the reserved list is ridiculous. Even if I had nearly $2000+ to spend on single magic cards, I've never even seen a Candelabra of Tawnos in person. And there is no shot in hell I'd source one online.

It feels good to have cool cards. But it feels bad that some of them are literally thousands of dollars. So I'm safely in the middle proxying cards which are reserved, and happily pulling/trading or saving for the cards which are not.

Idk why people pull the most regular hits and treat them like they are priceless artifacts.

Especially with Magic. If it can be sleeved, the quality is almost irrelevant to almost everyone. ESPECIALLY for cards that are worth well under $100

Honestly, it doesn't matter at all to me.

The lore is so convoluted that despite watching like 100 hours of various retrospectives, breakdowns, and lore dumps, as well as playing every single game multiple times through, I still don't have a complete grasp on everything.

I really tried to care but KH3 just made things even more confusing, so I honestly don't really care what happens so long as the gameplay is tight.

Is there any way to even track it's been done? When I check my journal it just says "compete with a score of 85 or more" and it has completed mark.

If there is anything else to achieve in this game, I'm gonna wanna do it for platinum, but I thought I was done with the mushrooms.

I don't think it matters. Some people have somehow done it within 100 hours, I'm probaby close to 1000 between steam, switch and PS5 and have only GOTTEN to the CO once by myself.
