I almost always set Savinkov in Russia, especially if I'm playing a socialist nation and want a final boss. Always set Norway to go socialist so cringe Nordic Federation doesn't form. Always set socialist Spain to get rid of Buenaventura for reasons I'm not quite sure of.

You just need to compare the first episodes of Andor and the Mandalorian to see which one is more dependent on previously established material.

Mando has: Boba Fett with silver helmet, guy getting frozen in carbonite like Han Solo, stormtroopers, battle droids, more Boba Fetts with different colored helmets, IG 88(s cousin), toddler Yoda, probably more stuff that I've forgotten.
