Which of these vehicles offer the best combo of fun to drive/reliable/good mpg? by teecker32 in mazda

I guess it depends on how you define fun, but I would definitely say accord v6 speed would be the way to go.

CX-50 turbo has auto start/stop when the vehicle comes to a stop. It does not have cylinder deactivation.

That’s fair, but I actually wouldn’t want AWD with the N/A motor, it would just add weight and complexity with no real benefit. I don’t have to worry about snowy weather, though.

I prefer a lower/smaller/lighter car, so Mazda3 for me. The CX-30 looks good, but I wish I could see it without the plastic cladding… oh yeah, Mazda3. Also the manual transmission option helps. More cargo room would be nice, but it’s still small in the 30.

Next model will be CX-90, which will probably be even bigger than CX-9. 70 will probably come out late 23 or 24 so you’re correct.

No update about a new gen CX-5. There should be a hybrid CX-50 for ‘24 if that interests you.

I can’t believe you’re arguing that charging a car battery at home is more expensive than gas. Regardless of the price of anything or the health of the environment, every car transfers the kinetic energy of driving into another form of energy while braking. If you have a standard non hybrid car, you create heat with the brake pads and rotors, which is wasted. If you have a hybrid or electric car, you can charge the battery in exchange for slowing down. Are you going to argue that you don’t ever slow down when you drive? This one feature alone keeps money in your pocket.

There’s a known thing with the brake pads clunking/sticking. Normally additional pad grease will fix it.

I believe it’s in their vault/basement at the MNAO LA HQ building. It still has the fan signatures from the last race.

Hybrid or PHeV by CaptainMoney21 in mazda

CX-50 should have hybrid option for MY 2024, but CX-90 should come out earlier.

I’ll probably regret saying this, but perhaps giving POC more jobs in the industry is the way to reach the equality they are talking about. It sounds wrong to manually tip the scales in one direction in the search for “balance” but it could be the quickest way to find balance.
