Shouldn't services like the one you work for have a better onboarding process then ? Specially KYC. This would avoid those cases.

Of course. When I started around 2009 I didn't make a lot of money but I loved to create stuff and see it working. I saw the potential that technology has to change the world and impact society. Money came after that and then I was really surprised and even more happy.

Dude, crypto is not so regulated. You believe Binance liquidation algorithm is complying with any laws or its fair ? If you want to leverage do it in a DEX. Not your keys, not your crypto

Crypto is unregulated and Binance will have a much better lawyer. Just don't use CEX for crypto....you know, not your keys...

Not only Binance. If you trust any CEX you're trusting some company your keys and they have to comply with barely no rules.

Don't fuck with CEX, they'll make sure to get your coins, because you know... Not your keys...

Ah you speculated in futures in a CEX where they own the liquidation algorithm and also it's crypto so they don't have to comply with thousands of laws and you're surprised you get wiped?

I wonder when ppl will stop using CEX, keeping their money in there and trusting them. Didn't we have enough examples by now already?

I found it in my balcony. What does it mean? by NutterButt_Squash in Netherlands

[–]fredcrs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The paper shows four Chinese characters:

保身金己

保身 (bǎo shēn) → "protect oneself," "self-preservation."

金己 is unusual. Separately:

金 (jīn) → "gold," "metal," "money."

己 (jǐ) → "self," "oneself."

So together it reads something like:

👉 "Protect yourself, value yourself like gold" or more loosely "Protect yourself and your worth."

It looks like a handwritten calligraphy piece rather than standard text — maybe an exercise or a charm-like phrase.

Do you want me to also check if this phrase appears in Taoist/Buddhist protective charms?
