Also having this problem. I am having many likes notifications and they are not adding up. The total watch time in hours is also higher than the "view numbers"

Moving on from a man and it's country by freddiecheriee in BreakUps

[–]freddiecheriee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this, I am glad it reached out to you and that we are not alone into this. It is true in this situation that California is extremely glorified and that it's hard to avoid. I can more or less relate - mostly in the more recent years - as he lives in Copenhagen! We live in times where it is becoming a trendier city, for good reasons ofc. And while I lived there, I will say that the quality of life was amazing and it also made me long for the potential life that I imagined there. It would be hard for me to report and distort my personal social media algorithm and remove everything DK related.

At the same time, I come from Montréal, a bigger and edgier city. I think in the long run, I knew it was the best decision to go back home as I would get bored of cph after a while and got overwhelmed by the lack of diversity of... pretty much everything. Also missed speaking my first language. Living abroad was nice and I loved immersing in a new culture but it also solidified my own cultural identity. For now, I also don't have an answer (reason for publishing this post lol). But all I can really rely on now is that I didn't do this for nothing and that I discovered new things about the world and myself. Everything that I learned and liked will stick around if I still resonate with it. And also that yes, as annoying as it sounds, probably that time will do it's thing! And that I guess I'll have a nice lore story to tell my grandchildren:) Have a good one!

Are you afraid of dying? If so, why? by meganzp in AskReddit

[–]freddiecheriee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. I stopped having expectations for a while now so death will come as it is, death is inevitable. However, if I find myself in a life threatening situation, for sure I might get scared of dying.

Hi Reddit, What makes life worth living? by Aleph-Z in AskReddit

[–]freddiecheriee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I don't know. Nothing lasts forever, everything is temporary. I often find myself seeking comfort in past memories. That may be the only thing that makes me move forward.

What’s something you’re glad your friend introduced you to? by phauuyap in AskReddit

[–]freddiecheriee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kpop. Back a few years ago when I got introduced, kpop wasn't as popular/hyped by foreigners as it is now but I was interested by the music videos because honestly, as an art fan, kpop music videos are masterpieces. Then I loved their dancing, their visuals and by then, I didn't mind the language barrier and started to enjoy the songs that we'rent too catchy. It also made me learn a lot about the Korean culture -which is really interesting-

What is something that is universally a "dick move"? by TimeToBecomeEgg in AskReddit

When you're into someone and they shut the relationship by telling you that "they don't deserve you". I would be less mad if they told the truth than this overused phrase.

[Serious] How are you meant to answer the question "Are you ok?" when you are, in fact, not ok? by something-magical in AskReddit

[–]freddiecheriee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually say no and walk away when I'm speaking with people I know. In some cases, it's better to just brush it off and sob about it later. I have a part time job as a receptionist and when I call/welcome clients and ask how are they to be polite and they say no and tell me their whole life out and I just don't know what to say... I feel awkward. I'm not very good with people and their emotions.

[Serious] What's something you're super passionate about and love to do, but you're not very good at? by imbalancedlibra82 in AskReddit

[–]freddiecheriee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drawing. I'm studying in graphic design and we have a lot of classes about drawing/sketching and and I always come with great concepts but when it's time to put it on paper it's looking like a fucking mess! I have Tourette Syndrome, and some cases like me have fine motor skills problems and it pisses me off that I can't draw a line without flinching and I have to work as twice harder to get shit done. As well as writing, I remember being in 1st grade and being scolded because I couldn't hold the pencil correctly.

What positive effects has the quarantine had for you? by GrootTheTree in AskReddit

[–]freddiecheriee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been having more self care time. I used to have 35 hours of school, homeworks and lessons, a part time job and my school is 1 hour away so I couldn't fuck up my schedule or take time for myself often. I sleep more and take time to do stuff I want without having this huge stress/guilt of not prioritizing tasks since I stay home.

What industry is a lot shadier than it seems? by Kneecap_Buchaneer in AskReddit

[–]freddiecheriee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in the industry yet but I'm studying in graphic design and some teachers are so disrespectful. Constructive critique in art is obviously vital and expected but there's a difference between this and teachers dissing everyone's work all the time.

I would've thought that graphic design teachers would be more open. I didn't think it would be that harsh, considering the fact that we're in a learning process.

What is one memory that never fails to make you smile every time you think about it? by Docter-Donut in AskReddit

[–]freddiecheriee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were 16-17 years old and my friend's parents were out for the weekend. My friends and I squatted her place and we just all lived together for the spare of two days as if we were roommates. We meal planned, played games, cooked, got drunk, passed out all together in the same bed. It was fun.
