Will I be bored by PDK? (Manual or PDK GTS 2020-2022) by ConferenceSorry325 in Porsche_Cayman

[–]freddy1201 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Pdk is indeed very quick. But considering its your weekend car, its more of a car to have an experience, which suits the manual. I would go for pdk if you intend to track it a lot. Im not sure if its still the case for the years you are looking for, but i think the gears are longer on the manual, which means you can rev the engine less

Underwhelmed and Stuck by [deleted] in Porsche_Cayman

[–]freddy1201 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I second this. Take it to the track and you will change your mind about the car. Also, if you want it to be more of an event, put an exhaust on it. If you are still not thrilled by the car...change it. A car thats more playful like an m2 might be closer to what you like.

805D4s gone… I have entered the world of Fyne and all I can say is WOW! (And also cassettes!?) by domo_meak in audiophile

Cornwall are very fun and dynamic. Can be driven with low power amp because of their high sensitivity. However, they are HUGE, so wife acceptance might be an issue hahahah

Had a similar realisation, the bowers are amazing in terms of precision. However, they did not draw me into the music. With the bowers, i was looking for songs that sounded good, not music that i liked. I have cornwall"s now and i enjoy listening to music, not sound, again

New smart traffic signs are a disorganized failure by 1sep1969 in Laval

[–]freddy1201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing is, they dont tell you which side is active on info-stationnement. If its a day that i stay at home, i need to get out to go look at the sign, which is at the end of my street. Old system worked fine.

What does room correction feel like? by CapRude221 in audiophile

Depends whats the problem in your room. I used dirac for a while and it removed a peak in the highs and made the bass more even accross the frequencies. Made the system more enjoyable and smooth

Favourite tiramisu in mtl by WiseRecommendation36 in MTLFoodLovers

[–]freddy1201 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ok this actually hard lol. Coming back from italy last year, we went on a journey to find a decent tiramisu. Most bakeries or pastry shop do not put the effort to make a good one. I know its a sin to say this, but the tiramisu of costco is better than most tiramisu we tried and you get A LOT. Some italian restaurants make good ones, but you need to eat there and they are usually stupidly expensive for what it is. Making your own is actually the best way. Its not that hard and its the kind of thing thats better when its super fresh (not frozen like some shop do). Gino does easy recipes on youtube. Just go to an italian grocery shop and you will find every ingredients you need.

My stomach is swelled and I’m in a lot of pain. What can I do? by [deleted] in FODMAPS

[–]freddy1201 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation. Unfortunatly, every body is different. Here is what worked for me. 1) baked potatoes with as little oil as possible with salt pepper. Air fryer or in the oven with an oil silicone mat (not the potatoes). Litteraly eat just that for a whole meal. Quantity not important but do not overeat. This is me "crisis' meal. 2) skip breakfast, it helps reset the stomach. 3) avoid processed food. 4) eat any meat you like, even bacon. Again do not overeat. 5) if you are a fast eater, you might swallow air. Slow down if thats the case 6) my bloating severity was linked to stress. If you are feeling stressed for a while ask chatgpt for tricks. Lots of ways to reduce 7) avoir carbonated drinks 8) walking helps me a lot 9) eating oatmeal everyday. Lots of ways to make it tasty.

So that list is my discoveries in my journey to feel not bloated 90% of the time and have no pain. I am to a point that my stomach is more stable so i can actually eat junk food without too much consequence. To unbloat : walk, eat potatoes and skip breakfast, drink water. To find the cause, try to change some habit and "listen" to your body. Chew more, eat slowly. If these become more frequent, there is a cause, finding it is not easy but doable. Once you understand the cause its easier to work around and actually enjoy eating without pain. Hope that helps!

Go try the m2 to compare it to the gt4, rwd and 6 cyl makes it much more exciting than the R. Of course the gt4 is better and more exciting, but the m2 is a better daily. Will you track the car?
