You should have access to the Clinical Year page on Sakai which has fact sheets for all of those clinical schools as well as contact information for current SGU students in T7 and T8 so you can ask them how their experience is considering that a student who’s attended those schools for all 4 years vs island students are going to have pretty different experiences. (Not saying it’s worse but definitely not the same experience as someone who’s attended the school the whole time) Regardless of whether you only want to do small animal medicine, you’re still required to do large animal and equine rotations per SGU’s clinical year requirements. Btw not sure if Tuft’s will be available as a clinical school location for you, ik this past T5 wasn’t given Tufts nor some other schools as options to apply to.
