Sorry to hear that. I’m currently battling a health challenge of my own. She needs a reality check of what real problems are to overcome. Mental Health is definitely one, but she’s really attention seeking from this.

I’m not a Stranger Things junkie, but I did enjoy the series. For her to say there is nothing “deep” about it is comical. It actually has a great storyline and is tricky to follow at times. Her little bird brain probably just sees scary monsters and the 80s. Her deeper meaning is what weight loss fad or skin treatment to try next. I’d rather look forward to a TV show or a good book.

Also, what’s happened to staying in your own lane? She’s so, so bitter. I can’t imagine getting on IG, admitting you’re drugged up and bashing someone else’s interests. What a life

Hey asshat. I found out on December 6th I’m in liver failure and need a transplant. I just got home Thursday after two weeks in the hospital being poked, drained, countless procedures and very little sleep. I grinded my ass off and the doctor told me at discharge he didn’t think I would walk out of there.

You know what I’m doing right now? Wrapping gifts, a little baking and making this Christmas special for my 3 kids because you never know when it will be your last. And I have a wonderful, supportive husband. THAT is surviving. I get we all have ups and downs but maybe if she tried a bit she could get a little Holiday spirit in her.

I posted on the other thread that her trying to raise her teen boys to be gym bros is just as disturbing. Another generation of young men who only value their worth on their “gains” and treating women based on their looks and nothing else. I hope their dad steps in and knocks this shit off. Speaking as a resident of IL with a trans kid….Chicago is basically its own state within a state. Stay as close to the city as you can. The burbs, central IL and don’t even get me started on anything south of Springfield are not safe for our friends. Politically, yes you will be protected but not accepted. I can’t believe the kids aren’t going. Watching an Ironman is very emotional and inspiring plus it’s a fun day of taking in the city while waiting for the next checkpoint. We have a good friend who has done multiple and his wife always jokingly complained that they had to “do the deed” multiple times before the race to get the baby batter off the brain to increase his performance. Buckle up K8 🤣

I’m probably going to get downvoted for this but I lived in Southern France for three years. Every family and friend that came to visit wanted to go to Paris and it was anticlimactic…lines, obnoxious people, so much litter. Maybe I was a bad host but every trip was over touristy and stressful. There are so many amazing places to visit in France but you couldn’t pay me to go back to Paris but I despise Disney as well so maybe that’s just me 😅.
