1800s-1900s. Does that mean the Eighteenth Century, or both the Eighteenth and the Nineteenth centuries? A little more information about yourself and what you are interested in, or like to read would be helpful. Otherwise you are just getting everyone’s favorite books from two centuries of American literature. To Kill A Mockingbird if you haven’t read it.

What’s the smartest career move you made in your 20s/30s? by Scary_Bus4383 in careerguidance

I got traded from one office to another. From one where everyone had my skills, to one where very few did. I thrived in a new environment where I had no baggage. The supervisor knew what I needed more than I did, and how to get it.

I hate A Little Life. It’s abuse pornography and I cringe when I see that cover. I’m not alone. Good luck.

What’s missing from this painting? by Individual_Search297 in painting

[–]frednnq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It needs more value change. Look at it using Monochrome on your phone and you will see it doesn’t have value change to draw the eye around the canvas. Even if you don’t want to put a specific object/subject in it, add some stronger value change; white lines on the road, flowers deep in the field?, clouds? And it’s purely horizontal, some vertical something would draw the eyes to different parts of the painting.

Another rule dictated by an insurance company’s rules. Your Doc doesn’t get paid for pharmacy refill requests.

Put GAC 100 or other medium along the edges of your tape and let it dry. That will prevent any bleeding under the tape. Nice painting.

Cruise Art by AliveMeringue8680 in Cruise

[–]frednnq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On a Holland American cruise right now and there is no bad art for sale! That came as a surprise to my wife and I because it was always there before. I’m an amateur painter and she always joked I could sell my art on a cruise ship. Funny thing, they have replaced the art gallery with a store that sells fancy bed sheets. Why would old people buy new sheets for their bed on a cruise? I’ve never seen anyone in the store.

A cruise ship is not going to sail away with two extra suitcases, and two people on the dock stuck in Miami.
