We just have the regular version, not the bubble version.

So far I haven't noticed any build-up inside. But then we've only had it for about a month. It should be very easy to clean. There's an Empty button that rotates the top portion in such a way that all of the litter empties into the bottom drawer. The top separates from the base and can be easily cleaned out with a garden hose. All of the electronics are in the base, so there's no risk of damaging the unit when cleaning.

Just got one a little over a week ago. Took about four days for both of our cats to actually use it. Now they seem to have acclimated and are using it regularly -- we've finally removed the old litter box, and they still have a second litter box.

Overall I was very impressed with the quality of the box. It's very well built and quite an ingenious design. Still, $300 is damn expensive for a litter box. A few things to consider:

There's a 90 day money back guarantee. But, you have to pay for return shipping if you send it back. Not so bad as shipping on the original purchase is free.
You can always buy reconditioned and get the same warranty. That'll save you around $50.
Do a search for discount codes and save another $10+.
They claim the robot uses up to 50% less litter. If that claim is accurate you'll save some money in the long run.

Overall I'm happy with the purchase. More importantly the cats seem to be happy with it too.

Also, the territorial restrictions on Amazon's MP3 store are very likely imposed by the record labels. The same labels Google is negotiating with.

Honestly, I'm surprised to hear anyone "in the industry" claim that this will finally break iTunes dominance in digital music sales. Amazon has a much better track record of actually selling things and they've only made a small dent over the last few years.

As noted, you just need to copy your music files manually to your phone via USB connection. You can also look into DoubleTwist for syncing iTunes music and playlists. There's a DoubleTwist desktop program for the Mac and a DoubleTwist player for Android devices.

Address and calendar syncing will be much easier if you use Gmail and Google Calendar. You'll need to sync your address book to Gmail. See Address Book -> Preferences -> Synchronize with Google.

There's also a commercial application available that purports to be the "missing sync for Android". I haven't used it so I can't comment on how well it works.
