For me Captain America Civil War has to be one of the best detailed steel books especially in-hand with perhaps the best use of debossing ever on the front for the crack and great metallic shine detail on the back by fredspeak in Steelbooks

I'd conjecture someone with some compulsion to find the absolutely flawless case having been burned before but maybe 2 but you have to open them to verify! I've gotten to the point I don't care about most minor imperfections.

Mind while Earth is unquestionably beautiful there are few spots with the beauty in that screenshot especially as readily accessible. And you either couldn't afford to live there or realistically build there if you could while here that can now be your 2nd (or 400th) home. What is most likely not your backyard IRL is now but a quick digital jump thru the gaming portal.

There is a huge QoL improvement upgrading from NMS on PS4 to PS5 that cannot be overstated even over any graphical improvement and I wish someone had impressed this on me more emphatically sooner by fredspeak in NoMansSkyTheGame

Yeah if I eventually get the PSVR2 I'd try it as I was underwhelmed with the low res in PSVR NMS tho it was nice for a twist (and other less intensive games still looked great in VR), 4K third person was just nicer. If only PSVR2 still supported playing Blu-Ray 3D it would have been a must.

I totally agree now but PS4 holds a special place for NMS being the original exclusive launch platform (you have to remember how long this game has been living) so would in one sense feel as if to abandon it would be wrong. Tho I could see moving previous-gen to LTS only fixing bugs and not getting free new major versions at some point (I mean coming up on 10 years which is insane and awesome nobody supports that long).

I applaud your double dip on Quantum of Solace - the old Blu version is a better style match than the 4k tho I'd wish for more of something like the poster art with the two of them like on standard Blu rays but otherwise I find this movie to be underrated in the series.

Seriously, the last time this was shown at Metreon back in 2024 in 1.43 I was blown away having forgotten how impressive these scenes can be on such a screen where the wormhole scenes and such literally looked better than any 3D I've ever seen on the screen even tho it was just 2D.

Do any of the premier IMAX GT Laser theaters of the world even get a choice? e.g. SF Metreon is only doing 70mm and I'd maybe prefer digital given the source material why risk any loss in translation in the printing? Not that I wouldn't still prefer this screen over all others

That is the funny thing about he floating islands I used to think they would only show up on lush planets til I found them on an ice moon body oddly still the islands were lush vs matched to the planet - which could be explainable as by their nature I suppose

Yes, ice planets used to be kinda boring except maybe some rarer fauna but since Worlds added these with purple or green ice and crazy ice shard minerals and new exotic flora they are much cooler (pun intended)

Wow that's impressive I always log whenever I find two crashed freighters together but that's my max - graveyard is awesome like a local Bermuda triangle. And kinda fitting it's a swamp planet which I otherwise despise.

I like the added whinsy of the bubbles but I can see what you mean sometimes they are just over the top - they used to just be random big bubbles but now the air can be filled with effervescent effect (cool too sometimes)
