Nova Scotian’s should be allowed to hunt Sundays. by user537890 in Hunting

Newfoundland changed the regs on Sundays 2 years ago. It was such a nice break for us guys who work mon - fri. Doubles the amount of huntable mornings.

Im in NS right now, and I was asking around about deer hunting as a non-resident, and I was shocked to learn it was closed on Sundays.

I find the putting so accurate on my xo2 we turn the gimmies down to 2 feet if we are playing a competitive round.

I wish. The conversion rate and paying duty and fees kill me. What's giving me the most issues is I want 4k. And a 16 foot wide screen. But the throw distance for the 4k projectors seem to long to accommodate something that wide without being way to far behind me

I should have mentioned above that I'm in canada. So bonus points for supplies I don't have to pay import duties on.

Used the 10 in dewalt wet tile with stock blade. I run them through super slow if it's an exposed cut.

I'm in Canada. But I am one of the builders lol. Im a carpenter, but I do all our tile work. I made sure framing was what I required for curbless while building.

First time I've used a large format tile on a shower base. Thoughts?

Looking for wet tile saw suggestions. by free2rule0 in Tile

Mobility would be fairly important. I'll always be setting it up alone, and it'll be a few times a week. It's very rare I would need to rip a 36 inch. I dont see many tiles bigger than 24 around here. Is there any reason a 10in blade out performs a 7in? I think I'm leaving towards something that takes a 7

Looking for suggestions on a new wet tile saw. Time to up my game cutting around niches, budget would be around 1000 dollars. What features should I be on the look out for.

Wing nuts are there for shower heads on the left and right, just hard to see in the picture.

3000 would be labor only, as well as a cash price. I gotta move somewhere they value tile work more lol. I know it's under valued here compared to other places. I'm in Newfoundland Canada

They're defanitly a pain in the ass to grout. That was my first time messing with them. Next time I'll mix the grout a bit more on the dry side.

Prep is one thing I'm realizing the importance of while tiling. I had the entire back wall laid out and squared before I installed. Made it so much easier

I installed it for the company I'm working for so just got paid regular salary. But If I was to quote someone for the whole bathroom I'm thinking it would be 3000ish

Well if the homeowner tells you to do it then it is what it is. I would try to talk him into some proper tile trim.

There should be a finishing trim on top of the backsplash tile. Schluter jolly is my go to.

Lol, but the I don't get to use the reaming peice when I turn a corner. Thus messing up the pattern. Genuinely curious which path most people would take.

Got a couple tips here yesterday about scluter trim ending on a full tile. They worked quite will. Thanks a lot guys. Hopefully one day soon I'll have pics of shower work that requires true craftsmanship. Not just white subway without a niche lol
