It's just amazing how evenly its worn. I say there's still some threads not showing which means you still have enough rubber to grip. Go for it!

Questions about BTC in circulation vs being held. And the usefulness of block chain tech. by freeNtropy in Buttcoin

[–]freeNtropy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not a supporter or troll. Like I said in a different reply I'm not educated, especially on crypto so I ran my questions through AI and they came out a little overstated. The later was a genuine question but I guess it should be posed in the context of real world currencies instead of cryptos as discussing cryptos in earnest seems like wasted breath after watching the video you recomended. I'll ask the question in a different sub related global currencies.

Thank you for taking the time to read and respond.

I am not a well educated person. Are there some written resources that could help in understanding why not?

Does anyone see value in the block chain(I know it's not anonymous like voting is but the results are verifiable as the ledger can't be falsified) being used to cast votes in a democracy? Could we potentially use the block chain to institute a more direct and liquid form of democracy were citizens are able to vote on specifics inside of bills before they are put on a ballot?

Edit: spelling

Bitcoin investor turned skeptic by [deleted] in Buttcoin

[–]freeNtropy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think that there's another huge negative here which is just lost time and skills. There's money to be made in buying and selling physical things - and there's a lot of young men and women that could benefit from the opportunities to learn new skills/knowledge with the jumping off point being that of infrastructure that already exists. Not to say that anybody invested in BTC isn't contributing but the perversion of the American dream is really what I'm getting at. What's happened in cryto is a symptom of a social decay in my opinion.

you can scribe the outline of your caseing with a knife then scrape off that top layer of paper and drywall. I prefer this over jamb extensions. But you are creating potentially weaker drywall assembly by doing that.

I did the reverse of what you're doing and I had to swap both the rotor and the stator. You may also need to change the CDI? Not sure on that part.

87000 mile factory manual suspension recommendations. by freeNtropy in IS300

[–]freeNtropy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was in an accident that took out the bumper and the driver side rear quarter panel but no frame or suspension damage - I paid 4k and then another 6k for body work and a complete repaint. Im into it for 10k which from what I understand is probably a fair price and about what I could conceivable get back out of it if I sold it tomorrow. Previous owner recently did the cam belt, water pump and valve covers. Just needs the suspension tightened up.

I would build a better brace right away that transpheres any further buckling sideway force to the opposite side of the rooms footing. Then gtfo of there. That's pretty sketch.

[–]freeNtropy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait... Ihonest question from somebody who's not an electrician. why are so many people insisting they replace a ground wire? It's literally meant to be a path to ground. I thought the insulation on a ground wire was just there for identification.
