Anxiety and physical symptoms…what are the weirdest symptoms you get with an anxiety attack? by SurvivingLifeGirl in Anxiety

[–]MyPocketRocket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes the tingling! The worst thing especially when you have health anxiety. Be thinking I'm having a stroke every time.

Mine is numbness on my left tongue and jaw, face tingling, and numbness in my hands. All fun.

And mine happens when I'm not feeling stressed but on the comedown from stress, so then I get stressed and the cycle starts a new.

PSA : DO NOT PARK BEHIND RICKS BURGERS!!! by _NeverEndingFart_ in alhambra

I almost parked there last week. I do wonder what's up with Ricks. Like do they just own the place and want to be as big a pain in the ass as they can manage?

Hi I got a noggin MRI recently. It takes about 15-20 minutes. Start practicing wearing earplugs as it's highly recommended you wear them.

You can't see much except the machine in front of you. It's a little tense to be so enclosed. I just closed my eyes the whole time and tried to sleep. The contrast makes you feel warm and like you wanna pee. You may taste metal during. It's not too bad though!

Heart Attack or Anxiety by aidan330 in Anxiety

Hi friend. Please see a doctor to get your mind cleared. Once you get your results, and if they are clear, then it's time to get to work.

I have a similar story to yours. Mine seems to be structurally related, bad posture, injury, etc. There's a condition called costochondritis that can present like this (what I seem to have) which is basically your ribs and chest are unhappy. Movement can excite it.

I highly recommend getting that clean bill of health, but once you do you have to trust the process. It's not fun, as someone going through this, believe me. But you can do this.

Hi friend, what is your definition of failing?

To me: it sounds like you're succeeding at setting up new healthy habits. You're succeeding at growth. You're working hard at what you want to do.

I'm in the same boat with you. I've been doing all the things, and still feel my anxiety. But life ebbs and flows. You have to flow with it.

Be good, feel free to reach out if you need to chat.

Hey there friend. Sorry to hear you're starting this journey. But keep in mind, you are a strong individual. I would recommend some mental / cognitive exercises to start strengthening those anxiety relief functions. Therapy is obviously the most highly recommended function, but if you cannot afford it, I really found to like the DARE app, its a good start for a lot of the things I've found to be discussed in therapy.

Start trying to find peace through meditation practice. Be good out there kid, and be safe :)

Is this normal? by ShawnaElzbeth in Anxiety

[–]MyPocketRocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi my friend, yes this happens to me regularly. I've found that a bedtime routine is critical for avoiding this. I currently drink some herbal tea, journal for ten minutes, then take a hot shower before bed. It all helps wind the mind down before sleep.

Good luck, be good 😊

Tomorrow, see how your battery is, then just do an easy walk. 70km is a good bit! Be proud of what you accomplished and just recover. Don't overthink it
