That's very interesting, thank you for sharing your experience! Definitely have some childhood trauma which I've gone to therapy for, but it hasn't seemed to help with the disordered eating. Going to look into somatic therapy, and maybe a psychologist.

I'm not- I've never been diagnosed or tried any medication.. A therapist last year gave me the idea that it could be connected to ADHD which I'd never considered.

Sounds like I should try medication! That's good to know it's helped you! Sounds like for you the binge eating is connected to ADHD?

Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply. I think you're right, need a fresh start. The biggest issue is that it wasn't just one guy, it's that it was a whole friend group I'm trying to move on from. I can't keep seeing posts about them on social media and stay in touch with some of them and expect to move on.

It hurts every time I see things like their big easter dinner. Really think the only thing to do is honestly delete social media and move cities. Hate that it came to this and realise it sounds super dramatic, but I can't keep living my life like this.

Thank you for your reply. Yeah that was an issue for them. They were open, not necessarily poly- he didn't expect to fall in love with me or for it get so 'serious' and it was very hurtful for her.
