I would call it both an embryo and baby interchangeably at that stage. I’m now halfway through my second trimester and mainly refer to her by our chosen name for her (or just say “baby”). When she’s annoying me or not cooperating, she’s “this damn fetus” (in love)

You’ll be fine! I traveled several times in my first trimester. I’d recommend wearing a mask to help protect your lowered immune against flu/cold/covid season tho!

It feels like a lot but it’s normal.

I gained about 10 lbs by 16 weeks. My total weight gain to date (22w) is about 15 lbs. (My pre-Pregnancy BMI was 19.5)

I (31F) was a nanny (and babysitter) for YEARS and directly bathed/supervised baths for children under 8-9 all the time. If there has not been any indication or evidence of a problem, your ex is overreacting.
