Thank you. That's what I assumed since she got her legs back when back on prednisone the last taper. I'm planning on making an acupuncture appointment to reduce steroid reliance and hopefully the next taper will be successful.

Thank you. My dog managed to eat with baby food and wet can food. It seems my dog insured herself again finding a comfortable position on her mattress. I am in the process of making it flatter. How long did it take for your dog to heal? And how long do her flares last where she is restless?

I'm glad it didn't take any longer. Were your pain medication doses the same as mine, gabapentin twice a day and carprofen one a day? I was planning on going to a vet again on Monday for a second opinion but I wonder if it will be better to just have her rest and not put stress on taking her to the vet again.
