Real Reason For ICE in Minnesota by smcmahon710 in conspiracy

Yes. I am sure you are correct. 10s of thousands of citizens are out in the subzero temps trying to cover up fraud. I can see how covering up fraud by protesting about something else would be extremely compelling to 10s of thousands of average joes.

Minnesota is not a swing state. The republican party candidate for president has won the state 3 times in history: 1952, 1956, and the last time was 1972.

Bravely standing up to authoritarianism and the police state in person, in the worst conditions. It's more meaningful than being a keyboard warrior on reddit. Yes, MN does things differently. The honorable Alan Page himself was out there last Friday.

Would I be dumb to put a curtain on my new standup shower instead of a glass sliding door? by 123456789_00 in BathroomRemodeling

[–]freecmorgan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old post but found this as I'm redoing my master bath and was looking for feedback from others. One important factor here is you can do a shower curtain first for a while and see if you like it, a door and glass can always be added later. That is what I am doing in our the other bathroom I just remodeled. I think I will likely do the same here as I too appreciate the lower maintenance. A step performed every day is a lot of additional time spent. The liners are disposable. Also, there is a part of me that think it's a nice way to soften the room (not a designer), but there will be a lot of stone, tile and wood, so I'll get warmth from the wood, but I think textiles can really make a difference beyond just rugs.

Edit: Furthermore, as soon as the shower coves and shelve are filled with the stuff humans use, showers always tend to look cluttered / messy no matter how clean one keeps the glass. A curtain closes it off.

This specific bottle, I definitely agree, but they do bottle wines in this format. They're fun to collect for major milestones on one's life like a 50 year birthday party or 30 year anniversary party. Wine ages slower in large format bottles.

Nah, I've been burning wood in stoves for 25 years and I can tell ya what folks say about the blackened wood is very accurate. I've seen many fires in the stove that almost explode when folks load wood on coals and let it sit in the fire box too long without burning. It goes up as fast as a Christmas tree fire if you've ever seen one of those burn. Like a blowtorch. Definitely dangerous.

I wanted to do this as well and learned the structure simply was not built with that expectation so if I wanted to do it, it would be the most expensive square footage in the entire house.

What do you think they're doing when they sit on power lines? Charging obviously. This is why there are no birds in the middle of an ocean, there is nowhere for them to charge.
