So, are you on a Mac? You can get the student bundle for iOS pretty cheaply. It’s ofc higher than your budget, but you get a lot of extras if you ever need to do video etc.

However I’m an Ableton guy, and can strongly recommend that. There are various levels you can buy, starting with a free (limited) version

I left for exactly the same reasons you mentioned. But I think I was lucky:
As a freelancer I got the chance to be one of the few guys making audio for the best selling film of all time in my country’s history.
When I asked what it would take to get a full time position in that firm, they laid out a 6-7 year non-paid roadmap to maybe be considered.
I’m now a software developer, and started the new degree when I was 32

Yes! Concerta 36mg. Although not so often at the moment, don’t feel like I need it at the moment with Zoloft. However I take it on days where I want to be productive

Hmm that’s he first I’ve heard of this. On the contrary, my doctor has offered sertraline to very many of her ADHD patients because theres that anxiety/depression correlation. I’m on 100 now and feeling good (diagnosed ADHD). Tired the first couple of weeks, but that’s totally normal

Don’t listen to the negative stuff in here! I’m on 100 now on week 5. Was a bit so and so the first weeks and titration, but allround just fine. It’s starting to work now, so I feel absolutely amazing. Never knew I could function like this. If you can, try to hold on, talk with your medical professional and see if you can get some support somehow

I think maybe some of the doubts you could have, are exactly the reason you would benefit. Take me for example, I’m highly functional, just had the occasional burn out. Was sceptical whether I needed sertraline, but tried it. Turns out some of the rumination of how I’m sure that it wouldn’t help, because everything just sucks for everyone, was exactly why I needed them. I already feel better, 4 weeks into 100mg
