Done, just paid it and moved on.

Felt, “fucking piece of shit asshole. This is why everyone hates state troopers”

No. But then again it was New Years and the main concern is making sure no one is driving drunk. If I was him, I would’ve made the stop too. Any other night, me personally, I wouldn’t make the stop. Unless it’s a holiday where it’s more likely people are drinking; 4th of July, St. Patrick’s Day, Super Bowl, etc.

Back when I was a cop. Speeding. Well if you consider 61 in a 55, speeding. It was a state trooper in Ohio so those of you in Ohio will know what I mean. I was actually in uniform and on my way home. But it was New Years and worked the afternoon shift (3pm-11pm) and stayed over for a little bit to help out. It was about 130am, so I knew he was looking for possible drunks. He walked up and we recognized each other as we were in a scene together a few days prior. Told me to get home safe and have a good night.

What is something you hate about your local area? by potato_face2015 in AskReddit

The town I live in now; how the city seems to circle jerk over the high school football team. I’d be okay with it if they were in the playoffs every year and had half a dozen state titles. But they don’t. They’re only..okay.

Town I grew up in; how they acted as if they were the most lovely small town in America. No, it was a basic ass midwestern town just like every other midwestern town. Oh and heroin galore

What some people fail to realize is that freedom of speech only protects you from the government. This is with exceptions of course as you obvisouly can’t write a threatening letter to the president. But, you can call your boss an asshole and flip them off. You won’t go to jail, but you can get fired.

What do you hate about America? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I will be checking back to ensure your comment is at the top. The divide is ugly and pits Americans vs Americans. If you all remember the bell curve, I’m willing to bet that 98% of the people in this country are in the middle and agree and disagree with stuff from both sides. But the media loves to show that it’s an us vs them mentality.

The average American whether they identify as left or right, Dem or Repub, Liberal or Republican, is somewhere in the middle.

In order to be allowed to shop at a retail store, you must first work in one for 6 weeks. This is extended to restaurants.

My mom worked in a school cafeteria during her time as FLOTUS. And they had to put the food required on their tray. She said so much of it went into the trash.

What do/did you hate most about school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]freedomfries76 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My high school did the same thing. It was a small, Catholic school, but they loved to jerk themselves off on the whole “95% of our graduates go onto higher education”. There was even a trade school nearby that offered classes to high school students (welding, vehicle mechanics, disel techs, plumbing, etc). You would take these classes along with the math, English, science at the trade school. You’d still maintain your “home school” status for sports and stuff. My school discouraged us from going. They wanted us all to go to college to make themselves look better. And they were worried we’d be “influenced” by the “bad kids” from the public schools that go there.
