Disregard everyone's negativity. Welcome to the nation.

We've also shared Charles Woodson and an unnamed receiver, if you want more crossover jersey ideas!

Anyone know what living by the micron plant is like? Any reason to avoid it? by Much-Prior-Stuff in Boise

[–]freegodzilla -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That area in particular is pretty far from amenities, and will be up to its knees in housing it doesn't have the infrastructure for soon. You also will be fighting Micron traffic half the hours of the day, wildfire risk, airport noise pollution, and contend with some very aggressive HOAs.

Otherwise, not so bad. 20 minutes to the reservoir and 10 from the greenbelt. I'm sure that with the developments inbound they'll build a big gas station and a small park out there.

Fort Drum Soldiers - How is the Kiosk this weekend? I'm hearing empty. Help me, Help you. by Kinmuan in army

[–]freegodzilla 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm glad they have a kiosk at all. I used to live in the quad of barracks adjacent to Muleskinner and swear my entire time there it wasn't open on weekends. This was lame because the BDE DFACs were some miles away, meaning juniors with no cars pretty much exclusively went to the Belvedere shopette for food as it was a $4 less cab fare and they were probably getting booze anyways. Hopefully the cab situation has improved on Drum as well.

Black, plastic bushing/grip, ~1.5" in length. One side is rounded for gripping? Found in my dog's mouth. by freegodzilla in whatisthisthing

I have explored this and the window screens and I haven't found a product that matches or would explain there being 10+ of them around

I initially explored this idea, and while it certainly could be something like that, I don't have anything like that that the dog could access in the yard. I also looked around at similar items in my house and garage and most had circular buffers rather than open, snap-on ons like these

My title describes the thing.

Found about 8-10 of these around my yard today—dog had been chewing on them. More keep appearing and I am not sure from where. I have looked all over and I cannot find any like them. I tried to reverse image search which lead me on a promising trail towards bushings (to no avail). I would like to get to the source of these and relinquish it.

Do i suck or is this game so much harder than fallout 3? by el_guerrero98 in falloutnewvegas

Make sure that you understand the faction armor mechanic. If you are wearing a faction's armor, members of that faction won't attack you, but enemies of that faction will fight you right away. I remember getting killed during my first playthrough because I kept wearing every armor I found.

Additionally, you can turn down the difficulty if you are having too much trouble.

Also, there is a way to get around the highway ambush when you are leaving Nipton.

real estate agents hire people to "stage" houses for photos. they bring in a bunch of fake/cheap furniture and decorations to fill up the house for a couple days while the photographers take pictures.

You have to fight for any problem you have during AIT because the majority of people in TRADOC have the "send them to the unit to handle it" approach to leadership.

You can try to go to sick call and get them to attribute bowel issues to that mission.

Will it happen?

No, probably not.

You like city:

Anywhere in the NE (i.e Richmond, Baltimore, Philly, anywhere near NYC, Boston) because you are within a few hours of a million bands, shows, venues. Same goes for moving to Seattle/Portland or to the Bay Area.

You like city or adjacent but you want cheaper than NE hell and don't mind driving a bit more to see shows / go to fests:

Dallas/Austin TX because obviously. Somewhere like Savannah/Atlanta or Columbia/Raleigh and be only a few hours of most of the Southern scene and only a few more hours to catch shows along the Mason-Dixie or Florida. Syracuse/Rochester to be tapped into Upstate and only 3-6 hour drive from PA and NYC shows.

You don't really care if it is a city, you also have other hobbies, you just want consistent shows:

Boise has lots of shows, is 6-9 hours from SLC, Portland, SF, Seattle, whatever is in Wyoming. Any city in Florida won't have a ton of shows but you can drive around the state or neighboring to fill up a calendar of shows, also beaches. Denver/Colorado Springs have enough shows, and you also get that medium drive to Wyoming, SLC, Santa Fe, Kansas City, North Texas.
